Re: want to buy a bcm 14 inch rifle have questions
Yes. But it depends on the length of the muzzle device, e.g. standard a2 flash hider on a 14.5" barrel won't make 16" overall, so still sbr or pistol even if pinned and welded. It will surpass 16" overall on a 14.7" though. Which brake is it?

Re: Just got my CCW, go for the P365X?
Whatever and however you carry, my only $0.02 is carry as often as you possibly can. Even around the house, in your vehicle, going for a walk/run/bike ride, doing yard work, etc... Quickest way to figure what works and what doesn't. Example, I carry a G26 AIWB. How do I bend down to pick up an 80# s...

For the past 15 +/- years it's been a Browning X-bolt in 308. 168-gr bullets in the >2,600-fps muzzle velocity range will do it all in AZ.

Thanks for the link to download. Looks like a good resource. Probably still worth picking up a hardcopy.

Didn't see anyone mention Comp Tac. Lately, EDC has been the EV2 Max. Like it so far. I'm a fan of the leather kydex hybrids.

Re: Moving to Mesa/Gilbert area.
Best of luck to you. Glad you're house doubled. You're going to need it, as others have said. Ours has tripled in 8 years, out here in SE Valley. Or you thinking of starting off renting? Though, from what I've heard, the rental market is bonkers too.

FWIW. For food preservation, a good resource is "Putting Food By." Was just referring to its section on tomatoes today TBH.

Curious if it wouldn't be prone to bullet creep like other 9mm revolvers.

Re: Safer storage of grocery store canned foods with pre-scored pull tops?
Interesting query. But I agree with other comments about maintaining regular rotation of all canned goods. I think a good organization system is more important (so you don't have hidden/ forgotten items), than trying to come up with a clever solution to an otherwise non-issue. Example: get those can...

Nice.
I do something similar. Some mags loaded full, others random. Sometimes mix in different capacity mags too. Train to shoot til empty/failure, check, drop mag and reload or fix failure, repeat.

Re: Side charging AR's
Years ago, I was so close to getting an ASA non-recip upper for my 9mm when they first came out. Saw them at a gun show and coveted it for quite a while. But ultimately, I decided it was better to just run what I had and keep the same battery of arms on all my ARs. Side chargers are cool, but IMHO t...
