Re: Remington 700 receiver block, trouble indexing ASR brake
I may be using the wrong term. I'm using the washers that were included with the ASR brake. These were in my Saker box. I'm running one of these on a Tavor as well, but did not have this timing issue. Part of it is the longer barrel and the perceived inability to torque on the end of it without conc...

Remington 700 receiver block, trouble indexing ASR brake
Hey guys. I'm admittedly new to bolt action rifles, but not rifles in general. I'm having a heck of a Time indexing an ASR brake on a Bugera HMR rifle. The Bergara is a Remington 700 pattern receiver. I've gone through my shims stack and have it close, but can't seem to hold the barrel well enough t...

Re: Got drawn for Whitetail, need to buy a deer rifle. Model & caliber suggestions?
Thanks guys. I've heard the same advice about Remington multiple times now, a bummer that that is where the company has gone. I've not handled a howa, but I was impressed by the bergara and tikka. Any reason not to buy 300wm? Feels like that covers all the bases. I don't have any other bolt guns, so...

So follow up to this, got the can hot (2 mags), and scraped it off with a chunk of cardboard ammo box. Stuck to the box better than the metal and is nearly all gone.

Re: cowtown range
Where do I find the info on the 300-yard days at Ben Avery? For the Wednesday night steel events at Cowtown do you need a membership?

Christensen Arms Mesa
Anybody have an opinion or experience with the Christensen Arms Mesa rifle? Looking at it in 300 Win Mag.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Silencerco summer promotion estimated 7+ months to ship free products
Those days are from pending. The docs I mailed myself took 9 days to go pending, my silencer shop docs took 44 days to go pending!

Glad to hear it. Anyone gotten their original purchases out of jail yet? I'm at 316 days on one item (non silencerco) and two at 273 days (silencerco).....

I agree on the distance concern. A humaine shot and not allowing a wounded animal to wander off is extremely important to me.
I am strongly considering 300 Win Mag or 7 millimeter mag for precisely these reasons.

I don't doubt that. But it will take more effort than just a simple change on an opinion paper.

Re: SBR worth the $200 and hassle?
I feel like one SBR is a good backup for all the pistols you're building that could easily drop out of favor with one change in administration and subsequent ATF opinion. Nice to know I have something to do with all those uppers in that event.
