Here is a picture of the current handguard. You can see how the barrel nut tension screws are tapered away from the pivot point.

Re: AR9 (Glock) Handguard to fit Octane?
Is yours a Colt or a Glock pattern mag well? When I try to install the arrow rail, it backs up against the front of the mag well in such a way that I wasn’t able to open the upper and lower receiver on the pivot pins in the front. It appears to be an issue with the way the Glock mag well is shaped. ...

AR9 (Glock) Handguard to fit Octane?
Hey guys, I’m hoping you can help me find a hand guard that will allow me to fit my octane under it. The receiver is a PSA px9, and due to the way the Glock mag well pivots I’m struggling to find a handguard that has a large enough internal diameter to fit the octane 45. I bought an areo quantum rai...

Re: Got drawn for Whitetail, need to buy a deer rifle. Model & caliber suggestions?
Realized I never closed the loop on this. First sunset of the hunt I had a very small buck sighted in at about 340 yards. I made the rookie mistake of not taking the shot thinking that I’ve already seen two and I’ve been out here six hours I’ve got another week to find a bigger one. By the end of th...

I also prefer the 22/45, and if use is any indication they come out of the safe much more often.

Sense we’re all giving out free business advice, here some. Pop quiz, name 3 business that you drove past today that you saw a sign for and either stopped, or made a mental note to return to (that wasn’t fast food). I bet the answer is almost none - it’s why billboards are dying as a business, almos...

Agreed that it's heavy. I'm not worried about a few pounds though, I'm in a lot better shape than that. I backpack with much heavier load than I'll be carrying on this hunt.

Re: Got drawn for Whitetail, need to buy a deer rifle. Model & caliber suggestions?
I actually picked it up mainly for the ammo price, and the option to practice more with a bolt gun. I'm new to more precision shooting, everything else I own is semi auto. I picked up an HMR. Yes it's heavy, but so far it's been a great shooter. I'm run this this year, and have the excuse to buy ano...

Congrats! Did you file as trust or individual? I was able to finally pick up my Omega 300 this past week from NFA jail. It was pretty much 11 months to the day from check cashed to Form 4 approval. 9/11/18 to 8/12/19. My free Octane had the check cashed on 7/8/19 so we'll see how long that one takes.
