Re: Family $ employee

Simple physical assault without a deadly weapon doesn’t qualify. Plus, the employee instigated the interaction. Also, it was not burglary of an occupied residential structure. Not saying that is the case here but isn't physical assault a justification for self defense with a firearm in the case of ...

Re: Has fedEx changed its shipping rules?

So even if an FFL sends me a shipping label .. I cant drop it off at Fed ex? Does it still have to be picked up at an ffl and do they still have to put it on their books before sending it? Does anyone know any FFL's that ship just in case? Thinking about sending a gun out for work. The receiver will...

Re: Caliber Consolidation and Purging Guns

I went in the direction of consolidation mostly because I didnt want to reload for several different cartridges. Sold off my 45's and 9mm's. Come to pass .. bought another 45 because I missed shooting 45 and bought a 9 because its just fun. If you have them they are not costing you anything to keep ...

Because I like you, I will give you $100 for it, and take it off your hands.
You're welcome.
You are so incredibly generous! I was only going to ask $50

Re: 1st failure with my favorite semi auto

It will drop the hammer double action but it wont drop the hammer in Single action anymore. I found that if I remove the grip, pull the trigger all the way to the frame and then give an extra little forward pressure to the safety lever the hammer drops. I dont think its the trigger bar spring but ju...

4 rimfire misfires out of 100 seems pretty standard for bulk 22LR. I've used most of the Aguila 22LR flavors, and I've has a few misfires here and there.
I would say 4 out of 100 .. still .. gun has never ever failed to fire. This is the first.

Is it illegal to FIND a gun in the bushes? Seems like a clear case of Finders V. Keepers.
I'm thinking the Finders Keepers rule is in full effect!!

1st failure with my favorite semi auto

Was at the range today and brought my favorite semi auto. My sig 229. I have run all sorts of drills with this gun over the course of a year with a board member and the gun has never failed. NEVER! It has a few thousand rounds through it and always goes bang. Its accurate and it fits my hand well. I...

Aguila Super extra .. any good?

My wife has a Ruger SR22. Its been years now and she has shot it quite a bit. The gun has NEVER had a single incident. Its been bone reliable. I recently purchased Aguila Super Extra because it was on sale somewhere and I figured .22 is .22. Before that it was mostly CCI. Over the last two range vis...

Re: Airport worker hides pistol in bushes, it gets stolen, police retrieve it, but only the thief gets arrested

I once worked for a guy that carried a nice Smith .357 daily. NYC .. is a no go zone so it was carried without the cities blessing and could get you a mandatory year in jail.. Once in a long while we would have to go to a building in Manhattan that had a metal detector you would have to pass through...

Re: S&W 642 Alternative for CCW

I have the Gray Guns short reset kit installed in mine, and the reset is perfect for me. Maybe we could meet up at C2 sometime if you want to try mine out. Did you install the kit yourself? I wanted to add it to my p2000 but I can't find a really good video to explain the process and while I have f...

Re: S&W 642 Alternative for CCW

Its to bad that Sig no longer makes the 239. First gun I bought when I moved out here and STUPIDLY sold it off. That might have been a nice replacement for the 642 especially since you are already familiar and comfortable with DA. Here is a replacement possibility though and at that cost its hard to...
