CMMG AR-15 .22 L.R. Conversion Kit
I have been wanting to get one of these for a while, but never took the plunge. The newer units from CMMG seem to have good reviews, in regards to both reliability and accuracy. I ordered the "Bravo" model from Primary Arms with 3, 25 round magazines, and it was delivered yesterday. As soo...

Re: Majority Of Hurricane Laura Deaths Linked To Improper Use Of Portable Generators
This happens in the Midwest every Winter when a cold wave hits. With idiots using heaters and barbecue grills indoors, and dying from carbon monoxide poisoning, or else catching the whole joint on fire. It's nothing new, and is simply Darwin's way of cleaning up the gene pool.

Re: And The Insanity Continues !
I have 2 bags of magnum 8 shot, purchased 25 yrs ago, in my stash. It will keep me in Quail shells for my lifetime. I’d never pay those prices. I have much the same 1,500 pounds or so of #8's, 24 pounds of Clay's powder, and a couple cases of wads. The shot I bought a ton of, (80 bags), back in the...

Re: UN Ammo In Glendale Closes It's Doors
Does anyone know if Howie will go back to selling ammo directly without a storefront like he used to? His pricing was always the best around. Still have crates of the commie 5.45 as well. Before the website went dark, it mentioned something about selling certain products by the pallet at a later da...

UN Ammo In Glendale Closes It's Doors
In case anyone hasn't heard UN Ammo is no more. Howie closed the doors a few weeks ago. While no exact reason was given, I'm sure the current ammo situation, along with all the Covid crap played a big part. He always had really good deals on .50 BMG ammo, along with a lot of other unique stuff. I ha...

Re: A**hat policy at Cabela's ('n Bass Pro)
When I lived right off 103rd Ave. & Camelback, I frequented Cabela's quite often. They have many good deals, but you have to know what you're looking for. You can't just blindly walk in and expect to get a good deal. Someone has to pay for all that taxidermy, inventory, and air conditioning. Cab...

Re: Got My Old Homelite XL Chainsaw Running Again !
I just bought an Echo 8010-T power blower, and it's performance is unbelievable. (211 MPH @ 1,071 CFM). It will literally blow 1-1/2" gravel right down to the dirt. It got me into the mood to get all of my power equipment up and running with fresh fuel. The Homelite was the first I tackled. I a...

Got My Old Homelite XL Chainsaw Running Again !
It's has been sitting on the shelf for the last 25 years, collecting dirt and dust. These were well made saws. Constructed of all powder coated Aluminum, with very little plastic. And good, strong running engines. So this morning I decided I would try to get it running again. It's been a good saw, b...
