Re: Snap Safe Vault Door
I almost built a small concealed room to be my gun safe. I till think about it now and then. Find an area where you can do this and a hidden door and you're in business. It has to be somewhere it's not at all obvious you've got a small area there, though. Something like 12 feet long and 3 feet deep ...

Re: Rio Salado Swap Meet Oct 23
I exchanged emails with the President of Rio Salado and he made it pretty obvious that he's an arrogant egomaniac and that he's not interested in anyone else's opinion of how he runs the range. I did texts with another Rio Salado officer who also thought a BOS was an "advisable" thing to d...

Re: Rio Salado Swap Meet Oct 23
They require a bill of sale on firearms transactions? By demanding that, they became the only gun show in Arizona requiring a Bill Of Sale.
I'd strongly advise everyone to go to a gun show, any gun show, where they don't do California rules rather than go to this one.

They've even pretty much quit turning out their own newsletter to members since they got the new Range Manager.
When Billy Lagusis ran it, they didn't have these problems. Hopefully they'll get rid of this guy come January.

Re: Ammo bunker for home?
When ammo cooks off and it's not in the barrel of a gun, the bullet goes a very short distance and the shell casing goes maybe 5 or 6 feet or so.
In other words, I wouldn't worry about it in the slightest.

They don't get the word out because they've got the most incompetent Range Manager I've ever seen in a shooting range.

None of the other organizations are in a position to take up this slack on the National Level at this time. They don't have the resources or the people or the Lobbying arm. SAF has been winning in the courts, that's where we need to focus anyway. The NRA is weak and impotent, and in fact, probably ...
