Re: Safeguard Against Homicidal Side Effects Act

Doesn't that violate HIPAA? Probably. But state and local governments violate the 2nd amendment all the time. They pass these laws and then it is up to third parties to challenge them in court at their own expense. It can take years and hundreds of thousands (or millions) of dollars in attorney's f...

Re: Can I post an .MP4?

I have made posts with links to files on free hosting websites. The mp4 files that I posted were only available for 14 days, I think, and then deleted by the hosting website. There may be free hosting websites that retain the posted files for a longer period.

Re: CMMG 22LR barrel boohoo

Manufacturers will typically tool up and produce products in batches. They will make a run of 5.56 barrels, and then make a run of 9mm barrels, and then .22LR barrels and so on. It could be that they are waiting for the next run of .22LR barrels. edit to add: Of course, since you had to go through t...

Re: Homeowner's gun jams during home invasion, grabs samurai sword against pitchfork-wielding attacker

This is kind of like a modern day version of the gladiator fights, in this case samurai sword vs. pitchfork. The lesson here seems to be that you should always have a backup weapon in case your primary weapons fails.

Re: Man killed by bear in Groom Creek

Both brown (grizzly) and black bears live in Alaska, but, despite their names - color isn’t a good indicator of which is which. Black bears in southeast Alaska are indeed usually black, or black-ish, but in other parts of the state they can be brown, cinnamon, and even white! Brown bears are usuall...

Re: Complaint about Brownells

Brownells customer service sucks big time. They are hard to contact and slow to respond. I no longer do business with them.

There are lots of other vendors out there that will be happy to have your business.

That is what I use. I go one more step. Since the petroleum jelly is kind of messy I wrap each of the soaked cotton balls in a small piece of waxed paper before I stuff them into the containers.

Why Do Gun Owners NOT Call 911 after Self Defense?

New video by attorney Tom Grieve. So we know from national studies, virtually all of them, that there are hundreds of thousands to even MILLIONS of self-defenses gun uses in America each year. If that is the case: where are ALL of those 911 calls? Where are all of those arrests? Why are people choos...
