Re: gotta hand it to Midway
I'll second what stomp442 said. I have never had a bad experience with Midway but their prices are typically higher than anywhere else I usually shop but they are rarely out of stock on items.

Re: 1911 Night Sights
FWIW, I have used Wright Armory on several occasions because they are fairly close. No complaints; they seem to be professional. Also FWIW, my new favorite sights are TruGlo TFO -- tritium for low light, fiber optics for bright light. Thank you again for the assist. I have used Wright Armory for Ba...

Re: 1911 Night Sights
Thank you! Since I bought mine in 2018, It's Novak. Time to look for sights.
Anyone recommend a Smith to install them? Preferably while I wait or next day. I enjoy shooting this DW regularly.

1911 Night Sights
Hey 1911 guru's. I tried emailing Dan Wesson and its bouncing back. Do you guys know the cut on my Dan Wessom Specialist? I've had it over a year and just hate the sights. I would prefer the Trijicon HD Night Sights or something similar like all my other guns. If they share the same cut as springfie...

Re: Rolling blackouts in AZ
Goal Zero FTW - Yeti1000 will power most things for several days. Recharging with Solar works but takes time to charge unlike gas but GoalZero makes no noise, no exhaust, doesn't use a finite resource that may be unavailable and knowing it's a giant battery might make you pay attention to consumptio...

Re: Just did some checking.
9mm is out most places. As is 45 ACP and .223/5.56. Everything is .60 to .70 a round for brassed case if you can find it. More remanufactured stuff is showing up - which is to be expected. Wish the manufacturers would step up their game. SG Ammo had about 15-20 cases of .223 this morning. It's gone...

Re: Panic Buying Over Yet?
Saw a couple of places online with the Glock 43X in stock for $549, so maybe the storm is letting up... That's about $100 over what they where and should be going for. Not bad. I want an all black one but I've waited this long. Maybe in another month or 2 they will be less than $500 and I'll snatch...

Re: BOTACH sucks donkey balls
Botach used to be decent but over the last couple years they are no longer pricing things competitively and have always had an issue with stuff being out of stock but not marking it that way on the website. Optics Planet on the other hand used to annoy the s*** out of me(inventory system was always ...

Re: One scope for multiple rifles?
Doesn't work. To many variables among your rifles. What if you need that rifle and it's optic less? My recommendation is to put a high quality optic on your fighting rifle and leave it. Then buy one for each of your other rifles as funds permit. You can go high quality again or less if they are rang...

Re: Holosun 507k and Optics Planet
I buy a lot of stuff from optics planet these days. They have come a long way and prices on stuff is pretty flat everywhere. I haven't really had any bad experiences. I have had a couple issues where hot items with low quantity have been ordered at the same time by multiple people and I didn't get t...

Re: Man sought out people selling online to steal their guns
and many are happy to run the vin or the serial number to check stolen property. Wait wait, do you have personal experience with this? I put this very same question up quite a number of months ago, and most of the the "definite opinions" were that police stations don't have the time, and ...
