Anything with water.
The danger like above mentioned is the coating of salt in the bore. Which will draw water in and then form rust and over time ruin the bore.

It's all old school tech. Every bit of it. The barrel link/wedge is from the 1900/20s. Locking into the ejection port is from the 1910s Strikers are from before smokeless was even a thing. A pre 64 mod 70 that I lightened the stock on in 30-06. She'll do fine with my stockpile of Remington core-lok for years to come.

A 22lr Winchester 52, vaver iron sights, 8 inch steel plate, 5000 rounds of cci high velocity and 400 yards.

Everything is magnified. From wind drift, velocity variations and drop.
Makes shooting anything under 800yds with a centerfire seem easy.

But yes magnification makes it all easier.
