Re: CZ buying Colt??
CZ certainly hasn't done Dan Wesson much good since taking over operations and especially customer service.

Re: Queen Creek show Jan 16-17
I was a sucker and drove all the way out there once. It's like a tiny Mesa show. Big waste of time.

Re: NRA files for bankruptcy, says it will reincorporate in Texas
If I weren't a life member for 30 years I'd never join again. The NRA was the big dog. Now most of their budget goes to the administration, who many folks even question their true loyalties.

Re: Bill of Sale Collectors
I've quit buying guns shipped in. Never a new gun from a shop. I'm 4473 free for years. I break the chain of ownership every time I buy gun local face to face. No bill of sale. Flash DL's and CCW's, trade your cash for the gun, and drive away. I did have one seller who made a deal with me and when I...

Re: How many unregistered silencer prosecutions?
I've been carrying my legal supressor for years. I have a copy of my paperwork and stamp in my glove box and shooting bag. Never once, on an outdoor range, indoor range, or out shooting and being checked by wildlife officials has anyone ever asked to see my license.

Re: Anyone local do laser engraving on anodized 80% lowers?
Quenton has done several jobs for me, engraving numbers, figures, and designs onto guns. Bring in your clipart if it's special. They've always done me right and normally while I wait. Unheard of!

Re: California buyers popping up on local boards
Almost all my horsetrading is done in person, paperless, following the Arizona Revised Statutes. ARIZONA driver's license (not a state ID which almost anyone can get with a utility bill), typical questions required, count cash, hand over gun. But always local. I also check their license plates and t...

Re: 25 ACP Out Of Stock Everywhere
Nobody remembers? .25, .32, and .380 have always been more expensive than 9mm just because of the lack of buyers.

Re: California buyers popping up on local boards
Few know that an AZ ID (not DL) does not comply with the requirements to qualify as a local buyer. Anyone can get one.

Re: New to Az outdoor shooting
Sorry to tell a new AZ shooter that the old days of outdoor shooting is all but gone. Used to be there were countless wild shooting spots all around the valley, but inconsiderate junk dogs have ruined that in most places. Few people know how little privately owned land there is in AZ. Most is BLM, S...

Re: glock prices
I wish I would have gone with a milled slide instead of an MOS. Sits lower, screws directly instead of going through an adapter plate and a sealing plate. The cost is just about the same.

Re: Why are all safes coming with the electronic keypads?
I switched my old dial on my safe when I had a locksmith come over for a lube/checkup (which you should do occasionally). My eyesight is not getting any better with age. For just over the price of the full dial service I had him switch out for an electronic. He showed me that it fit the exact same h...

I'd rather work with the selling party/FFL. If you come to an agreement to hold it pay by credit card so you can always contest the charges.

Re: Bul Armory?
Bul from Israel has been around forever making many types of weapons. Their venture into the 1911 world, especially the compact versions, has been erratic. The few I've actually held seemed solid, but heavy for their size. My barber, originally from the eastern bloc has carried a Bul officer for man...

Re: Selling ammo
Little blatant slide around the forum rules, but welcome back. But the best thing around our local forums vs ARFCOM or some of the other big ones is you're dealing locally. You know the item is real before handing out money. Many more for sale schemes out there than I've ever seen.
