The court ruled in Star v. Commissioner that a tax on an enumerated right, or the means to exercising that right, is unconstitutional.

The government's taxation authority is not unlimited.

Re: Remington Agrees to Sell Ammunition Business, Including Barnes Bullets, for $65 Million

I’m curious to see what Ruger does with Marlin. I suspect they will run it better but they might also move the plant again. They would risk losing all their experienced people. Marlin doesn't have any experienced people. Very few followed the business when it moved. And frankly, you probably wouldn...

The fastest a SCOTUS nominee has been confirmed is "same afternoon".

Just saying.

Re: RGB has passed away

Prior to TV and the internet. Justices were confirmed in under a week. There is no constitutional requirement to drag it out, it's just done so senators can posture before the cameras. And even if he loses, Trump is still president until January 20, and the Senate can confirm until the new Senate is...

Re: Shipping a box of ammo to a friend

Why not USPS? Just curious. Have never tried, is it illegal? They fall into hazmat, so that would be a solid no. Ammo does not ship on a Hazmat cert. Ammo is ORM-D. Primers and powder are hazmat, but once assembled it ships as "Other Regulated Materials". Oddly, primed brass is none of th...

Dove and or Quail maybe.

In AZ have to be 1/4 mile from an occupied structure. (ridiculously restrictive IMHO)

Re: 450 Bushmaster

The 450 BM suffers from using 451 bullets, so finding components that will stand up to rifle velocity is somewhat challenging. Most folks would go with .458 SOCOM for a thumper since it uses .458 components which are much heavier built. Honestly I think that the 450 is only somewhat popular in a cou...

Re: 10 MM load info

Normally use 10 grains of Blue Dot for just about any 180 grain load.

For 10mm I would normally want something slower than anything you have on hand. Blue Dot, AA#9 etc.

Re: 1911 Night Sights

Wright's website says 35 bucks to install dovetail sights. If that's one sight, seems steep. If it's a set, seems pretty reasonable.

Re: Any experience with Cz Sp01 tactical

What do you want it for? Be an outstanding gun for Production Class when shooting most Practical Pistol disciplines due to the decocker and front heavy rail. For a carry piece I'd much rather have the P07 you already have, or the mythical P-01 Omega. For a general shooting iron, I'd much rather have...
