I think the barrel is too long for him to kill himself to get the award. But he has probably doesn't have many friends left. At least living ones anyway.

Tim, Welcome to the site. Clyde, You're not supposed to personally attack folks in the New User section. Perhaps modifying your statement as such would be more appropriate, yet still get your feelings across: "Yea, well, the "rule" you specified in the last PM banning me doesn't exist...

Re: Ben Avery - still limited to 90 minutes?

I understand that, but I must say the public range has been convenient for me during the week. I live about 15-20 minutes from Ben Avery and have used it a lot recently for sighting in new firearms/optics and comparing what ammo (of my existing stock) that shoots best in my particular weapons.

Re: Ben Avery - still limited to 90 minutes?

Are you sure about that? That would mean that they walked the changes back that they made during COVID. The fact that this is still up and lined from the Ben Avery main site suggests that it is all still in place. 90 minute sessions for $7 on the main range, regardless of the day. https://live-gene...

Re: Kel-Tec Sub 2000 Generation 3!

That is about $30 cheaper than the price listed currently at Sportsman's Warehouse. However, it is a wash since you won't have to pay the FFL fee if purchased from Sportsman's. https://www.sportsmans.com/shooting-gear-gun-supplies/modern-sporting-rifles/kel-tec-sub2000-gen3-9mm-luger-1615in-black-se...

Re: Sportsman's Warehouse

As for the issues with staff, my experience with the staff at the Yorkshire/I-17 store has been consistently positive. I recently purchased a firearm from the online store and had it shipped to the Yorkshire store. There was a delay in shipping that I went in person to inquire about. The staff membe...

Re: Kel-Tec Sub 2000 Generation 3!

Limper, what type/brand of backpack do you have? It looks like it was made for the rifle. Thom, The backpack is the Voodoo Tactical "Hydro Runner/Recon Pack". And yes I bought it because it happens to be just big enough for the Sub2K. Not made for it but happy coincidence. The current pri...

Re: Kel-Tec Sub 2000 Generation 3!

Addendum to my range report: Pneuby asked me to shoot the Kel-Tec from my left side the next time I went to the range to see if there were issues for a lefty as far as getting hit by brass and blow back. Went to the range today to verify zero on a rifle I'll use in a match this Saturday, and I broug...

Re: Kel-Tec Sub 2000 Generation 3!

Limper, did you pre order, or buy locally? Thom, I pre-ordered on Jan 2nd. It was originally supposed to arrive on Jan 11th. However, it was delayed and finally shipped on the 18th, arriving at Sportsman's on the 24th. I forgot to post the link to the MCARBO QD socket. I highly recommend this part ...

Re: Kel-Tec Sub 2000 Generation 3!

Well I just took my new Gen 3 Kel-Tec Sub2000 to the range yesterday and sighted it in. I have owned and used Sub2000s for quite awhile and have been very satisfied with my particular guns. I bought my Gen 1 in the summer of 2005 and even wrote a review on the old board. I won a Gen 2 at the Rocky M...

Re: AR pistol or SBR with folding mechanism

Just bought a Gen 3 Keltec Sub2000 and took it to the range yesterday to sight it in. Not an AR or rifle caliber so it doesn't really address your question about adding capability to your existing rifle. But it is a folder that is now (Gen 3) designed to fold with an optic attached. I didn't buy it ...

Had this in hard copy back in the day when it pertained to me. It would be a lot to print out but it’s a free copy of the USAF SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) manual. https://static.e-publishing.af.mil/production/1/af_a3/publication/afh10-644/afh10-644.pdf Thanks Guardyan for the SERE ...

When you post things to these sites you aren't really speaking to the Speaker. Probably just an intern who will log the responses under "positive", "negative", or "neutral". The Speaker will probably just get a blip in a brief about the nature and number of responses on...
