Re: MK 47 anyone
I have the prior Mutant pistol in 7.62 and it shoots so smooth/soft and is tack driver. Shoots softer which allows for faster follow ups. Shoots a little softer than my Gen 2 Sig 556r AK. 15 adjustable settings on the newer DI version and proper side charger versus the AR charging handle on the CMMG...

Re: CCW wait time
Man I should have looked for this thread before I mailed mine in and hand delivered it. They cashed my Money order on 9-20-2023 and 1 month later still nothing? What have other people seen recently?
Should I call or visit in person to see wth?

Re: AR15's - direct impingement vs gas piston
If you are going to shoot a DI suppressed get a Radian Raptor SD charging handle https://www.radianweapons.com/accessories/raptors/raptor-sd/RAP-SD001_R0006-RaptorSD-AR15-Black.png Notice the ports to dump into the bolt area and it has a lip on the end of the charging handle to direct gas up and awa...

Re: What is a 5.7 handgun for?
PSA is now making 5.7 ammo and they posted for $.50 a round last week before it sold out. So ammo availability is increasing and prices are falling..

Re: Has fedEx changed its shipping rules?
Fedex doesn't need to know what's in the box. Machine parts is close enough. Never use a 3rd party, e.g. UPS Store, to ship a gun...print the label at home and drop it off at a FedEx hub. yeah no lie here.. the UPS stores totally freaked when I tried to send a gun back to a manufacture... they are ...

Re: AR15's - direct impingement vs gas piston
As has already been said pistons run cleaner with a suppressor, but pistons also weigh more and the weight is further forward and that might be an issue for some as the rifle gets longer.
typically expect up to a half pound more.
I'm lazy and don't like to clean so pistons are my friend.

Re: AK conversion pistol to rifle
If it's just a tack, why is it called "pinned and welded"? And, if it's just a tack, WTF would you use a MIG welder? https://www.startpage.com/av/proxy-image?piurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ar15barrels.com%2Ftech%2Fpermanent-attach-steps.jpg&sp=1676554628Tf7dc7fc8e6518fa6c448424182a93294c8944c...

Re: AK conversion pistol to rifle
I like the link in Mock's answer. Seems like the easiest, so long as the welder is good. I assume that you'd want to be able to remove it (if/when we can) without a whole lotta effort. Tack weld is just one small weld dot, which can be grinded off. that's enough.. they don't have to weld around the...

Re: AK conversion pistol to rifle
on the cheap to wait out this mess as I think it will get overturned you could buy a cheap fake suppressor and have it pinned https://usmachinegun.com/products.php?cat=33 Local place.. can't speak about how good they are but $50 get you a fake can, and later you can get it unpinned. But I agree swap...
