Re: Armslist Experiences

Both bought and sold but experience has been hit or miss lately. I got the hots for a G19 and pursued every ad in Arizona with no success. My guess is that they were fishing for bids since the G19 was/is very popular right now. Ended up buying a new complete Gen3 lower, aftermarket slide off Gunbrok...

Re: 9mm in stock

Having more problems with the lack of communication with some vendors.
They setup their methods with email and phone and then either deviate from the
posted instructions or ignore their customers completely.

Very frustrating.

Re: Roof Koreans

Kinda late to this thread but we had the Korean White Horse division outside the wire in Nam. These guys take their duty very very seriously. We stayed on good terms with them at all times. Probably the same folks.

I'll take 2 please.

Re: Communications

As mentioned above, take the online PRACTICE tests. Same material as the real test and you get sample graded so you can see what areas you are deficient in. Focus on those. Once you get on the air the practical learning starts. Join a group or club according to your chosen Ham starting point. I went...

Re: Ham Radio Operators

KF7AEJ picked up the 2way bug again for SHTF. Strictly 2 meter VHF with a couple of handhelds and a couple of mobiles. The on line help tests are worth your effort to prep for any of the tests and for a couple extra bucks you can sit for the next level while there. Go for it.............

Re: Baffle strike on my Gemtech HALO suppressor

I have 2 SRT's in 22 and 9 along with a Bowers CAC9 Gen 1. Only the 9s have had strikes. The 22 is 3 point welded to a 10 inch barrel as was the SRT 9mm at one time. Doug at SRT told me from the first purchase to not use crush washers and that worked until the threads started to loose their new grip...

Re: Stuff you've melted to your suppressor (and how to get it off?)

Ive never used one but looked into a cover. From a web site that sells them and seems like cheap insurance. The cover is one piece made from Kevlar / Nomex fire resistant materials, rated to 1000 F. It was design to accept an optional inner fiberglass sleeve rated to 2000 F. The covers resist the ex...

Re: AR 9 mag adapters

For the record I went with the MLS9 lower for Glock from Rick at MLSArms at 35th ave and Greenway. Also went with the upper from Frontier with LRBHO feature. Pretty straight forward all the way. No adapter to fool with at all and for the same basic money. Need another trip to the range to dial it al...

Ruger Charger Takedown Worth it ?

Had not paid any attention to the take down versions of the 10-22, any issues with
these ? Seems like a good idea but is it worth it on the Charger pistol version ?

Thanks
