Re: DIY suppressor questions?

Hopefully this is SiCo. I'd like to use my Octane before 2020. ;) Lol. Nope not sico, I can’t say who it’s for because of my NDA but it’s not sico. Do you do coatings for everyday customers too? Yes I do. My website is paintwerkz.com and have some sample images of stuff I’ve done up there. At some ...

Re: DIY suppressor questions?

I coat cans often, I have an OEM contract for a suppressor line and currently am ramping up to spray about 1200-1800 cans a month by mid to late jan. Wish I had access to machines like that, imagine the stuff I could do. Hopefully this is SiCo. I'd like to use my Octane before 2020. ;) I’m in the s...

Re: Prescott Gun Shows

I’ve gone to them as a customer and as a dealer with a table. The foot traffic is solid and it’s pretty packed most the day Saturday, Sunday morning it’s like a ghost town. The dealers there for the most part are the same dealers you’ll see down here, however there are some smaller dealers who only ...

Re: DIY suppressor questions?

Having access to the machinery is a huge part of the battle, if you got access to it rock on and get it done!! I wouldn’t advise powdercoating, it does look nice but it’s insanely thick and doesn’t take heat very well. A few mags down the pipe and the powdercoating will start to melt off. You’ll wan...

Re: Stuff you've melted to your suppressor (and how to get it off?)

I had one of my customers do just this, he came into my old shop with his head held low and stuck out the can and said “fix it” then walked away. Whatever he had on there was truly like kryptoite! I ended up heating the crap up with a propane torch carefully enough to warm it so it would at least st...

Re: Glock19x

I will definitely pick one up sometime. Just have to find the right deal on one. They have sold a metric sh!t ton of them. I love, love, love shooting a full size Glock, so this fits the bill perfectly. I'm in no hurry, I have a dozen or so G19's. Some worth a pretty penny, but won't be getting rid...

Re: DIY suppressor questions?

Devils advocate here, I’m a 07 FFL / SOT but also a realist too. I totally get the allure of building your own can, In fact it can be quite rewarding when you’re done! Flip side it can be frustrating as hell, more so if you even remotely suffer from OCD. Building the can really can be a fairly simpl...

Re: Gun Broker good for determining value?

Depends what if’s for really. I use a mix of palmetto state, gun broker, grab a gun and a couple other sites. Like someone else said as well it also depends on the persons situation, if they’re desperate for cash it will go cheap but if they’re just trying to move the item and aren’t worried about t...

Re: Bump Fire Stocks Ban Coming Soon

As a FFL I’m over here giggling like a school girl to see how they ban them for the 10,000’s of people who have them.

I hope they slip up and open up the registry. Lol
