You might try Thunderstick Trading Co. on Jefferson just off Speedway and Craycroft. Mike is a pretty savvy guy, and I know he dealt with some Australians a few times. 520-290-8599

Re: What are the chances!
There's at least one more video of that happening. Was about three or four years ago, same situation, brass bouncing off the wall and hitting a cartridge in an open box on the bench.

Re: AR gunsmith in Tucson or Phoenix
Diamondback in Tucson used to do more than just put AR's together, not sure what they can do these days, but worth a call. Never heard of them screwing anything up.

Re: Gun shows ... What gives?
I have probably only purchased four or five items from people set up at guns shows over the years. On the other hand I have purchased quite a few items from people just walking around trying to sell something. The people walking around selling stuff can make the show worthwhile. I've been on both s...

I know that the Battlefield Vegas owner is a regular on Arfcom, for what it's worth.

MGM Spinner vs .357 Max
I do a lot of 2 gun competitions, spinners show up pretty regularly.
Usually using some kind of semi automatic.
They can be challenging.
Had one at our match this past Saturday, pissed me off, decided to take out some frustration today.

Re: Any recommendations on where to get a trust?
I used these guys 4 or 5 years ago, easy to deal with and no problems with the BATFE when submitted. They actually were on Arfcom, not sure if they still are.

Russell (Sinistral Rifleman) had one on a rifle when they first came out. We got to try it out after a 2-gun match. Consensus was, it sucked. Blacks everything, slow to aquire, all the issues Brlux mentioned above. Haven't seen it since.

Re: Your preferred trigger in an AR?
I voted single stage curved. On a whim a few years ago, I bought a Rise Armament RA-140 on sale for $80, turned out to be a really nice trigger. Drop in cartridge, 3.5 lbs, short reset, I loved it. Now I have one in almost every AR I have. I have some others that I bought before, CMC, Timney, RRA, A...

Re: Need a ballpark price
For an SWD M11A1 with can and mags, about $8500.
If it is an Ingram or RPB and an original can serial numbered to the gun, price goes up.

Re: AZ heat + Promag = interesting results
Not a professional shooter, but those are my shooting gloves, was at the 2G-ACM match. :violence-guntoting: Started to load the magazine in the rifle and it started spitting rounds out. I actually have two Promags, and the other one was in the exact same conditions and didn't do that, worked fine. T...

Re: Marlin 1898
+1 to SMG.
SASS banned them over 20 years ago due to potential safety issues, and Marlin even put out a notice that none of them are safe to fire at all.
Here's a link to a SASS shooters site with safety and disassembly info.
