Re: AK hammer following the carrier?

Hammer isn't connecting with the disconnector. Did you forget the disconnector spring?

Still not giving money to the NRA until the current board gets axed.

Tisas is much less expensive. Consider them entry level.

Re: FBI: the 9mm is as good as a .45?

Yes, and the 1911 is still the goodest of handguns. How many times do we have to hear some old timer sing the laurels of .45 ACP? The reality is, we should all be using 10mm.

Re: Seeking Advice: Emergency Insulin Refrigeration Solutions for Power Outages in High Heat

My first thought was a generator.

But, consider a chest freezer and a temp control module to turn it into a refrigerator. Those will stay cold for days, and even if you open it, no cold air gets out, and no hot air in. Plus, if you fill it with other things, that will help maintain the temp.

Re: Just Shut-UP, vs. Give a Brief Statement

Never talk to the Police. Ask for a lawyer, and shut up.

If you don't do that, you can get yourself into more trouble that you thought was possible.

Why did they make the grip so darn short? I don't like hanging on to the gun with one finger just to drop the mag.

Re: 6ARC or 6.5 Grendel, talk me into either

Grendel is a wonderful round. AR format will not be an issue, as long as you get good mags.

It used to be cheap, with Wolf 100gr round, but now, the prices aren't so great.

Re: Reduce Recoil on Long Rifle

Brakes, limb savers, and making the stock heavier also works.

If you have a plastic stock, remove the butt piece and stuff a bunch of heavy things in there.

Or you can just buy a shoulder pad or a "man bra" as my wife calls it.
