Re: AZ Game and Fish Commision votes 5-0 to ban trail cameras

As someone who works in law enforcement. I have no idea how they are going to be able to enforce this law without a 100% outright ban. The major component to any criminal crime is intent, and proof of that is what gets convictions.

I agree 100%. We do a little more grocery shopping than you, at least till the garden is operational and we get our sheep up to weight. I don’t understand a persons mindset, wanting to be neck and neck with each other.

Re: What is the problem most often encountered?

Most issues that I have encountered through the years have occurred through three things; magazine malfunction, ammunition malfunction, and user error ie limp wristing a pistol. Most modern firearms are reliable as hell and require just basic maintenance and cleaning.

Re: AR versus AK - which is better? Why?

Both are outstanding tools but it ultimately comes down to what your goal is and what you are most acclimated to manipulating. To me the Ar is a much easier system to use and thus I choose it.

Re: My deer rifle getting heavy!

I’ve taken two Arizona deer with 6.5 Grendel chambered AR. I honestly wouldn’t hesitate to use it on something larger with the proper bullet. As far as a light handy rifle in an effective light recoiling caliber I think this is a great choice.

Re: Dove hunting

I way down south in the San Raphael Valley area. It’s my first year dove hunting down here and it’s been terrible, 13 birds opening morning, and two the following mourning. I’m hoping that it’s just an off year down here.
