Re: Raided: for registering "assault weapon"

Forgive the ignorance, but if the item was in a locked safe wouldn’t you be better off bringing them the item instead of them cutting open the safe?

Re: Did anyone go to the SAR show today? If so... how was it?

I went yesterday- did a double take and started laughing when I saw the atf table.
Didn’t see too many deals. I did pass on a smith 46 with box that was priced at 1000, lowest he would go was 950 but I did pick up a 6” smith ppc9 cause I had to have it.

If you get a table, how many entrance passes do you get? I’d chip in to go to the show earlier……

Re: Rio Salado Swap Meet 1 April 2023

i went to the show and liked the environment a lot more than the crossroads shows. Didnt see that many deals (best i saw was a sporterized m1 carbine with paratrooper stock for 700) but prices were reasonable. got some 30 cal brass and some 38 1911 mags

Re: Rio Salado Swap Meet 1 April 2023

I was reading about a previous swap meet- are you not allowed to walk around with guns to sell? Can you walk around with a list or would they get mad at that.

Got my hands on one, not too impressed with the fit and finish compared to the German made one.

Re: Crossroads at the Fairgrounds

Went there today- I think I went to this same show 10+ years ago, when they had a bunch of military displays as well as a whole building of class 3/transferables. This was pretty disappointing. Saw a handful of transferables, lot more surplus and parts then a usual show and a lot of the same stuff. ...

Re: Sig Introducing a New Xfive

Looks like this one will have an adjustable trigger- that was the main upgrade from the original competition to L1 versions (and grips). I think when I priced them out years ago it was 700 from sig and 4-500 on gunbroker (for just the trigger) Looks like the changed the extractor as well

Re: phx shows - crossroads any good

So i stopped by today and have mixed feelings - 10$ for parking and 18$ to get in the door? I was there at ~ 10 -12:30. I was surprised to see so many people at that price. Inside it was busy but not too crowded. There was only one table with transferables and a handful with the guns that i like - o...
