Re: DO YOU KNOW YOUR FIRST AID

If you’re really serious most community colleges offer an EMT class. It’s one semester, and for a couple hundred dollars you’re get a good bit of information.

Re: Do any of you know thw White Mtn Apache gun laws?

Off topic, but I’m curious. If you’re convicted of a crime on the res, where do they imprison you? Typically, criminal penalties on the res that reach the level of felony are handled by the feds. So if you do a crime serious enough there, you'll be in a federal pen. Good reason to stay away as far ...

Re: Bear Creek's Glock clone...nope

I guess I’m lucky. I have several Bear Creek side charger uppers, and I think one or two Grendel barrels. When I was hunting hogs a lot in the south I put a couple thousand rounds a year through those builds without a hiccup. I know there are higher quality components available, but BC worked well f...

Re: At direction of Biden, ATF is drawing up new regulation to prohibit private sales

So since a private sale is supposed to have a nics check and a CCW is a nics completed for the valid time frame, does seeing a CCW complete the requirement for a private sale? In my most recent brow-beating by ATF, the agent basically said 'NO'. I'll paraphrase his 'reasoning'. The permit on...

Growing up in Michigan I used to see them all the time. I don’t think there would much of a market here.

Kind of nervy to bring out this product now, considering the attitude of the ATF on the reset triggers.I can’t help wondering if it’s a sting operation.

Re: Question for Labradar Owners

I would ad, if you can wait for a bit longer, Caldwell is coming out with a radar style device similar to the Labradar, but it will calculate your BC for you. As QuietM4 says, muzzle velocity is what most of us focus on, but for us geeks who like additional data the radar style chrono gives it to us...

Re: Question for Labradar Owners

You can set up to 5 extra ranges for velocity capture. Mine has always read velocity out to 100, and so far I haven’t tried it at further distance. I like the Labradar more than the traditional chronographs. It’s easy to set up and the light conditions don’t matter. You might consider buying a used ...

Re: LaPierre found guilty (or "liable" actually)

Latitia James needs to be disbarred for her persecution based on political beliefs vs. actual facts. Letitia James is a piece of garbage; it's true. The persecution was based on political beliefs (just as with her case against Trump). But in this one case, the facts are on her side, unfortunately. ...

They’re removing the technology, which means it must be working, but on the wrong people. Why on earth would anyone choose to live there?

First ever bull tag. Unit 1 or 4 archery. My wife also got drawn for archery but she put down a few more hunt choices than I did so we will probably have two elk hunts this year.
