How much time do you have after completing the class do you have to apply? My wife got the class work done but hasn’t completed the process.

It was Remington’s insurance company, not Remington.

Re: Which Gun Are You Currently After?
6” Smith model 28. Pre lock of course. I scored a 4" in exc condition. Had to clean it up and do an oil change and what a wonderful gun! I don't shoot a lot of .357 through it but when I do it feels like your shooting a bb gun. Oh and accurate as a mother f*****. Love that gun I don't shoot mu...

A friend has an original Mac 11, select fire 380 with suppressor, a decent number of original magazines, the green Mac case and manual. He decided to cash out of this one but hasn’t bought or sold NFA weapons for 30 years so he has no idea what to ask. Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Does this take effect immediately?
I turned 18 while living in Michigan and I bought my first handgun in a private sale, which was legal. I just couldn’t buy from a dealer until I turned 21. Seems silly, but then most federal gun laws are.

That sounds like it might be an Upland model. Does it have a pistol grip or straight English stock?rjscolonel wrote: ↑May 8th, 2020, 5:36 pm It is a 12 gauge with 26inch barrel. Thanks for the replies.

Re: Texas Exempting Suppressors From NFA Regulation
I'm guessing there is A LOT more to this story that you don't know. There is absolutely nothing stopping the ATF from prosecuting your friend. Fed's don't give a s*** about AZ law. No, I was involved in the case on a professional level. The ATF has a history of stretching the law, as do many federa...

Re: Texas Exempting Suppressors From NFA Regulation
I have a friend who got into trouble as a youth and decades later ATF found him with an AR15. As it turns out the rifle was a Double D Law Enforcement lower, made here in Tucson. They kept the rifle but he couldn't be charged under Federal Law. I'm guessing there is A LOT more to this story that yo...

Re: Texas Exempting Suppressors From NFA Regulation
We did try this in AZ....passed it in 2010. https://www.azleg.gov/ars/13/03114.htm It applies to "firearms, firearm accessory or ammunition". I'm sure a suppressor would be considered a firearm accessory. And yet, good luck walking into an FFL/SOT dealer and walking out with a suppressor ...

Re: Need An Engraver
A few years ago a friend had a special rifle stolen and some of us are chipping in and replacing it. There was some text engraved on top of the barrel that we need to duplicate. It's a fairly straightforward job, but it's engraved not etched. The font was a basic block style, and fairly deep. If an...

Nice. I have all the casting equipment but haven’t started yet. There’s a lot of science involved to get it right.
