For the time being I let mine expire. I also quit letting places like Midway round up my purchase as a donation to the NRA. I’m not paying to buy LaPierre any more new suits.

Re: Shipping a box of ammo to a friend
This doesn’t solve your problem, and these are far from normal times but when things settle down I buy ammo from an online seller and have it shipped to the person who needs it.

Re: .410 HD, what says you
You might consider 12 ga target loads. At ranges inside the average home they’re devastating and much less recoil than buckshot. Personally, I think the .410 is too light for home defense, unless it’s all you have.

Discover isn’t accepted in many businesses anyway. They’re pretty much useless.

Re: ATF flagging people through Motor Vehicles
I spoke with the guy again and apparently the person is under investigation for dealing without an FFL. The lower in question wasn’t stolen, they just want it as evidence that the guy was selling guns. Seems like a lot of drama over something like not having an FFL.

Re: ATF flagging people through Motor Vehicles
He did a bill of sale and they had all his info. I don’t think they can confiscate property, but can they actually flag him on a state system? After this goat rope I would never do a bill of sale either.

ATF flagging people through Motor Vehicles
So long story short, a friend of mine was pulled into an ATF investigation through no fault of his own. I have one for each of my spotting scopes. They are expensive for being a small molded piece of plastic but they work well.

Re: Dove hunting
No doves here yet, but an annual tradition is to head to Alabama for the dove opener there, which is always the second Saturday of September. We spent this weekend tuning up with the shotguns and we leave for Alabama on Friday.

Interesting. That was a serious dose of mud. I wish they could have figured out what caused the stoppage.

WM because it’s a time proved round that’s pretty much available anywhere. As an old timer I have no interest in all these new proprietary rounds that reinvent the wheel.

Serves them right. I would have boycotted them but I never shopped there anyway.
