I know this is unrelated, but Verizon does a $35 veteran discount. You can apply for it online.

Re: Pumping gas in Philly
I remember the first time I landed at an airport in Germany. Lots of cops carrying sub-machine guns. Freaked me out the first time.

Re: Went to the range, It was HOT 🥵
I went to Ben Avery on Thursday. Don't be no fool. No t-shirts and shorts. Cover up as much skin as you can. Big floppy hat with the neck scarf in back. Pro tip: soak your shirt in water, and put it on dripping wet. You will actually be chilly as it evaporates. Coolness, and protection against sunb...

Re: Usery pass/Rio Salado range
I generally avoid the public ranges - unless I can get out of work and go during regular business hours. This is not because of the RSOs, but because on the weekends there are entirely too many idiots on the line. I get why they yell - sometimes it is warranted. In my experience, if you can go to B...

Now he is saying he is not responsible. Let's see, which firearm safety rules did he break? Always treat firearm as if it's loaded.. check Always keep a firearm pointed in a safe direction.. check Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.. check Know what is beyond your target.. check T...

Ben Avery Classes
After 2 years, they are back. The classes assume the shooter has no firearm experience. Class is 1 hour classroom, then an hour on the range. Pistols, rifles and ammo is provided. A great way to get more folks interested in the sport.

Re: M16/M4 observations from Fort Leonard Wood
Ya, I've seen this as well. Guy next to me was shooting black powder, left it in after tamping down the ball. Made a really weird sound as it went down range. When he went to reload, I heard him say 'where's my rod'? Too funny..

Re: Ben Avery Fire?
I was out there today. Spoke with the range master running that range (rifle silhouette). Is the new range they just opened to the public. They saw it happen, was a skip off the berm. They checked the shooters ammo, was not tracer rounds. This is the third time it's happened that I'm aware of, at 3 ...
