Re: Sig P365 - Hypeworthy?
Attended a full day SIG training recently - the 365 trigger return was stronger than the rental gun I shot.
I won't break a leg to get one, but I most likely will before end of year

Good to know - hope it gets just enough traction to be viable and remains like the Backpage of old when just enough people knew about it that it wasn't spammed with so many keywords that you couldn't wade through the chaff.

Re: Motion activated red dot sights
Curious. Why would you want a motion activated sight when a Trijicon RMR that is always on and self adjusts to outside light can run more than a year on it's battery. Seems like just something more to go wrong in a sight to have to rely on an extra sensor. Pretty much what Flash said. Romeo 5 can b...

Re: Ruger PCC
Pretty legit carbine. Had a chance to run one up at Kingman Range Days a few weekends ago. Still unsure if I want to swap my KT Sub2K for one - sure, the KT is built like a plastic army man, but I find it charming in a 'never know when it's gonna break on you' sort of way. Full disclosure - haven't ...

I have had the opportunity to sit through several of his seminars as well as spent some time chatting with him. He has some very strong opinions on this subject.

Re: Video Games
Hell, in the 80s we shot at each other with BB guns, and it didn't make me want to shoot up my school. "NO MORE THAN TWO PUMPS!!" I'm sure a link can be made with video games, but pardon me for saying, I feel it's more the aggravation of circumstance. i.e. Sooooo much focus on Bullying and...

Re: Most important: resume or ability?
Ability to instruct IMO far outweighs trainer resume. Also the breadth of what one teaches (variety of courses) correlates to the quality of the training in my experience. When one branches out into many different types of firearms, first aid/trauma, and combatives training, it's usually not simply ...

Re: Sig P365 - Hypeworthy?
Yes, they are out, but fairly scarce.
Prescott Gun Club has one for rent, and I'd bet that bigger ranges like C2 and SGC in PHX have them as well.

Sig P365 - Hypeworthy?
Enjoyed it when I had the chance at some trigger time.
12+1, smooth, good reset, despite the trigger return spring needing to step a little livelier to extension.
Anyone made the switch from G43, Shield or other?

Re: Which caliber do you prefer? Why?
Own more in 9mm, and shoot it more due to expense, but a couple of handguns in .40 were still easy to feed when the rest got scarce
