Re: Do you own a stupid accurate rifle?
I have a few. Two Marlin 39As that are more accurate than a repeater has a right to be. Anschutz 64MS...no surprise there. Winchester 62A...also stupid accurate. For center fire, there only two that come to mind that are fantastic shooters for me and those are my .300 WM Sendero from the mid 1990s a...

Re: How often do you clean your guns?
Even when not shot, I clean my carry guns every few weeks. My go to guns that are locked away get cleaned and re-oiled about once a year.
Anything I shoot I try to clean within a few days.

Re: What recoil spring in 1911 10mm
Tim55 has the right of it. My Delta Elite is built to handle really hot stuff so I have a ramped Wilson barrel, a 22 pound recoil spring, a flat FPS and a 25 pound (!!!!I know, right???!!!!) mainspring. It's a beast with hot rounds. The 25 pound main really gives the gun a rather hefty trigger pull ...

Re: Bough a new rifle and.....
Late last year I bought a Pedersoli 86/71 that had been sitting at the Sportsman's Whorehouse for over five years. It had dings and scratches and buggered forend screws...no one wanted it..... Finally the priced dropped so low, I could not resist. Correct me if I am wrong, but, that 86/71, is in Ma...

Re: FK Brno 7.5
I do NOT get the price point on that. If it was 2K they would like sell a snootload of them. For goodness' sake, it's just a product improved CZ-75 for the most part.

Re: Christensen Arms
I own one of their Carbon Fiber DI, ARs. I had to shim the bolt release right from the factory as the bolt release slot was too wide and the follower of a magazine would jam behind the lock feature. I couldn't believe it wasn't caught at the factory. Other than that, it has been a stellar gun as far...

Re: Tavor vs AUG
The other thing I am not a fan of, when it comes to the Tavor is that the internals do not seem as robust as the AUG. They appear ( that is NOT to say they are any less tough than an AUG ) a lot more delicate than the massive components in the AUG. The Tavor internals are quite Robust. Some time ag...

Re: Tavor vs AUG
Having an AUG and regular access to a Tavor...let me say BOTH are really good guns. Than being said, for sheer ease of maintenance and quality of engineering, the AUG wins, hands down. I personally do not like the deep receiver recess in the Tavor....on the AUG everything is easily accessible in fac...
