Re: CCW wait time
After seeing this thread I just sent a nice email asking for a status update and I got a response in a few days saying my CWP was being sent.

Re: 9X25 Dillon
I have a 9x25 barrel for my long slide G20. Fun to shoot, get some nice velocities, I mainly shoot 115 gr bullets. Dies are made by Dillon and are carbide and expensive for dies. Brass is easy to form from 10 mm and bullet choice can be limited due to seating length needed and the short neck. I have...

Re: Info about Detonics
I have a pair of them, got them in the early 90's. I got a Mark VI combat master and then a few years later I picked up a Mark I combat master. They were one of those guns that always interested me when I saw ads for them. When I finally came across one for sale I jumped on it. They are interesting ...

Re: Some 500 Magnum 700 grain loads and a 9mm
I have a mould so I can make those bullets. It also has a hollow point pin that goes down more that halfway into the bullet. looks like you are looking down a sewer pipe because you don't see the bottom of the hollow point cavity. In the pic below you can see the bullet loaded next to the regular 70...

Re: Any good Remington 1187 mechanics in the house?
If it cycles fine with it removed then it sure does sound like it is the problem. Been shooting Rem 1100/11-87's for almost 30 years and never heard of this being a problem? I guess with it being a plastic part there always is a chance of it not being right. Hope that fixes the issue.

Re: Any good Remington 1187 mechanics in the house?
I have never heard of that being a problem. Sounds like you may have a problem with your interceptor latches which are two bars that are staked into the sides of the receiver and are what hold the shells in the magazine. If you insert a shell into the magazine, does it stay in and only get released ...

and another 5% off if you have a lowes card. They have ion OD and Desert Tan. I prefer the blue ones for water but those of curse were out. Ordered 4 green ones. Thanks for the tip. 10% with military discount . I checked and the military 10% only applies to regular priced items and since these were...

Re: tell me all the reasons I DONT want this
Big problem is they use a specific single stack 10 rd magazine and that is the only choice. It is not a blocked double stack mag that can be unblocked or made to hold more. I think there is someone who made a replacement lower that lets you use USC mags which is how it should be sold. I will stick ...

Re: Here is the new 1895 Ruger/marlin
I have had a Remlin SBL for a few years now and have been extremely happy with it. I am sure the Rugers are good also but I am glad to have been enjoying mine rather than waiting for a chance to get one. After having a lot of fun with the SBL I picked up a 336 BL which has been great also. Marlin 33...

Re: RECALL- CZ 600 bolt action rifle
One of the biggest innovative things touted about the new CZ600 was that it had user changeable barrels/bolt heads that made it more versatile. Well the recall says that if the barrels aren't installed correctly they can still fire and I assume blow up. So what are they doing? They are permanently m...

Re: And The Insanity Continues !
I finally got around to dusting off a shot maker I bought at a swap meet years ago. Had to fix the switch but it worked great and was not as much trouble as I thought it might be. Cranked out 30 lbs. of #8 in short order. Previously I had been using reclaimed shot but I finally ran out so I decided ...

Re: An we wonder how Remington went broke......
well since they are connected to Federal now and Federal is famous for their paper shells. Seems like they are just making them with blue paper and the Remington name for the nostalga. Funny when you look at the Federal paper shells they look the same just a different color paper. Just a marketing t...
