Re: Blown up and ruined guns thread

I don't know how a rifle powder would blow up a magnum pistol. You might be able to do it if you just put a few grains of slow rifle powder in the case and got a pre-detonation.

More like a shotgun powder instead of a slow pistol powder.

Re: Anschutz parts in Arizona?

Try Champions Choice. Search for Smallbore competition or Olympic shooting supply stores. They may be a help.
Try this guy:
https://www.chesebrorifles.com/
He took over MTGuns that did a lot of Anschutz work.

Re: A**hat policy at Cabela's ('n Bass Pro)

They have become a joke. Bass pro always was except for the fishing section. Kinda sad to see Cabela's fall down, but it's half way to LA for me anyways.

There's a tipping point for companies when they get big. They trash what they do, why they do it and who they did it for.

Re: AR rear sights

The peep rear sight is by far easier on the eyes than a notch rear sight. The whole idea is that you don't have to focus on a rear peep. The only way a notch rear would be close to as good is if you are very near sighted. Being strongly near sighted make the front sight a problem either way. Get a d...
