I guess I'll show my ignorance again. What does PCP abbreviate?
I have a .177 caliber break barrel. It is super accurate and quite effective on rabbits and small pests.

Re: 9mm revolvers
I believe there are revolvers that do not require moon clips. Ruger offers a .38 caliber revolver with a separate cylinder for 9mm.

Re: We are different
I seriously believe this country is going down the tubes. The old saying about a democratic form of government lasting 200 years, followed by a dictatorship, is about to become reality. Folks have learned they can vote themselves money. When this country was formed it was considered unthinkable to u...

Re: Best gun org to support?
NRA needs some serious reorganization. I have stopped supporting them and probably will continue. It is unfortunate that they have the top reputation in the business, but something has to be done about the present situation.

Re: What do you like in 22LR rifle?
Lots of good suggestions here. My personal preference is a Winchester 62A. They are very pricey, tho, when you can find them. Some of the imitations are good, but some aren't.
I have longed for a quality bolt action .22, but have always cheaped out and regretted it later.

Re: Watch recommend
Different strokes for different folks. A watch for me is a tool, not decoration. I have a Casio (about $18) that came with a plastic band, which I replaced with a stainless band from 2 watches ago. When I got it, 3 or 4 years ago, it was off by a few seconds from WWV. It still is, without adjustment...

WWII souvenirs
I have a number of WWII souvenirs that might be of interest to some group. These include a uniform that belonged to an uncle lost in a submarine; a couple of books, one of various pictures of sea battles, another about the history of the Seabees (my dad was a Seabee); a Seabee pillow; and probably a...

You have more guts than I. I avoid the reservations. When it is necessary, I stay on the main highways.

Re: Winchester 62A
My buddy's son bought one of the imitations--I don't know the brand. It tended to malfunction. I know of a Rossi that worked well. I guess the imitations are hit and miss.

According to a report in the news a couple of years ago, a .22 pistol was adequate for some folks in Arizona.brandyspaw wrote: ↑October 14th, 2020, 9:12 pm And that's why God made big-bore magnum revolvers and 10mm pistols.

Re: Winchester 62A
I learned to shoot with one of those. Got a few cottontails with it. Would really like to find an affordable one. Winchester quit making them in '59 or '60, as I recall. A good buddy got one about then. Rossi made (still makes?) an imitation, but it isn't as reliable.

My understanding is that deficit spending leads to inflation. The recent government spending related to the Chinese flu thing will result in higher prices for everything.

Federal red flag law for military?
Got an email from AZCDL about HB6395, which apparently includes something about a red flag law for military personnel. Supposedly it has veto proof support. The email includes a link to send an email via GOA to the appropriate powers that be. Tried the link and all I get is hours of a delay with the...
