The bigger question is why does anyone ever even buy a firearm that Springfield doesn't even make but slaps their name on it? I don't think the modern Springfield Armory makes anything. It's all rebadged stuff from other manufacturers. Not sure that's a bad thing though. That's exactly my point. SA...

About 12 years or so ago there was a police shootout with a suspect in the parking lot of the Ellsworth and Broadway store. My wife was shopping there when it happened.
