Re: ⁉️ Anyone have a stoopid accurate 22lr ⁉️
I have a JP 22lr kit (18" barrel) in a matching receiver set (no slop) and with SV ammo it shoots .5 moa all day at 50 yards. Opens up to about .75-.8 at 100 yards. I've tried "match" ammo and it didn't do much better than SV so I just stuck with it. This is my avg 20 round shot group...

Re: Calling all Long Range Shooters
The 2 places I use to go to in the desert have been closed off for a while. I've debated joining cowtown but can't get over the member price for the little bit of range time ur alloted a month for their long range range.

Re: Oh my, looks like Front Sight is having a bit of an issue
I feel bad for my FIL. He took a handgun course there and had a great time. They suckered him into some expensive plan. I wanna say it was like $5k. Said they were going to send him some handgun, rifle bag, and some other stuff. FIL was saying something about the owner in some lawsuit to help defend...

Re: Preferred Range Memberships
I'm a member of PRGC, have been for a while. I'm also out in Waddell so its a small drive for me. I'll admit this past year I didnt even go once, between the covid rules and work schedule change, I just never had a chance to go. *throw in the reloading components drying up as well. I thought about g...

I use to watch him ALOT,as I did 8541. Sadly, but good for them/their channel, they got real popular and went from "every day" stuff to way out there $5000+ stuff. Cool to see but my interests drops. Personally, I'm still a huge fan of Johnny's Reloading Bench.

Re: HONEST question
I'm with everyone else. I've had friends ask and I told them I wouldn't do it but id be more than happy to teach them how to reload and they can do it themselves. Usually they take me up on it.

Re: Ed's Red DIY solvent in suppressors
Thankfully my 22 and pistol caliber cans come apart, so i just throw the baffles in the s/s media tumbler and come back in a few hours. As far as my rifle cans, I havent gotten around to it, but ive heard CLR works. Again, never tried it so idk.

Re: Should I move to a turret press or progressive
Imo, it really depends on how much you plan on reloading. Per week, per month, per year. Idk how much you are shooting, so I am being kinda vague. I used (and still use) a dillon 550 for about 6 years before I got a 650. The sole reason for the 650 was because my main 2 things I reload are 9mm and 2...

Yup, there is. But anyone can also call and make that request. Just have to call the right department in that agency and not just the first # listed in the phone book or they can walk into any department and ask for a check.

Re: possibly buying a handgun via private sale, but wants to go through FFL?
I agree, the way I put was just the readers digest version. We have msgs each other back and forth and from the sounds of it, either hes new to selling guns privately (maybe from a commie state) or hes just clueless. That being said..... it did raise a red flag and I did get the serial # and the gu...

Re: possibly buying a handgun via private sale, but wants to go through FFL?
Slightly off topic, I had a guy off backpage a few years ago request the same thing. FFL or no deal. Didn't bother me since I was getting a steal anyways. A nice MAS 49/56 (that he thought was sporterized) still in 7.5 French. Since I had my CCW there is no phone call. Just fill it out, paid and ro...

Re: possibly buying a handgun via private sale, but wants to go through FFL?
Seller's merchandise,... sellers terms,... end of story, imo. Now, on the other hand,... "He said he would prefer to go through an FFL. His reasoning is "so he know the gun isnt stolen and he knows he isnt selling to a felon" ..., if HE , the SELLER , wants to go through a FFL to KNO...
