Reach out to Troy Sellars at In Range. He's built three for me. Excellent builds with a reasonable turn around time and he responds quickly to emails. Kilo had to many bad reviews take a chance on.

Pretty fond of my Henry lever actions but I'll be giving the revolvers a hard pass.

American reloading has Ginex 5000 SRP for $359.00, 5000 SPP for $349.00. No tax, no hazmat. I've never used Ginex so cannot comment on the quality but have not heard anything bad about them.

Re: Carjacking in Houston
Circle K now has the damn video displays at the pumps that start showing ads when you start pumping to further distract you. Wonder how many carjackings at Circle K stores there have been? I felt so much like taking a axe to the displays I wont buy gas there anymore. I think it's the second button ...

Re: Palmetto State Armory
I absolutely love and enjoy the PSA upper I have mated to a Sionics lower. In fact I am trying to locate a PSA complete or upper to create the retro M16. They are always out of stock. Very maddening. https://hr1871.com/ Suppose to be hitting the shelves soon, but we have heard that before. Fingers ...

Nice quiet morning at flat Iron. Got out there around six, only two other shooters. Left around ten and maybe six other groups shooting.

I am normally in the same camp as the other commenters here, and still am. But I want to thank pneuby for having a thick skin and an adult attitude and stepping forward to try to not only give us his perspective but also to keep it civil and friendly. We should all do that. I'll second this post.

Re: Palmetto State Armory
Sure, every time you pulled the trigger it would fire a two round burst. Pulled the fcg out to make sure everything was installed correctly and reinstalled it. Boom boom, same problem. Emailed PSA and they sent me a new EPT trigger group. Put it in and no more problem.

Re: Palmetto State Armory
I've spent a lot of money with PSA over the years. The only problem I've ever had was with one of their EPT triggers that would double tap when the trigger was pulled. They shipped a new one within a week. Great company.

Re: The ammo situation just got worse (thanks Putin)
I think regardless of how the Ukraine war works out, many nations will be stockpiling for an unpredictable Russia for years to come. However, the silver lining is that if Ukraine prevails, there's gonna be a lot of AK kits coming over after all is done. Probably not with our current administration ...
