Re: Nashville School Shooting
I am surprised more was released, I know when they released the manifesto there were lawsuits and threats from the police department and other groups against making it public.

Re: Guns in schools
When I was in school , just about every school around had guns on the premises , and most of them belonged to students. There was never a problem. Same here, when I was in High School (90s) every truck in the parking lot had a gun rack and a couple guns. It was a small high school, but there was pr...

Re: We Knew It
And I am sure they are monitoring every site remotely possibly related to firearms. I bet they have a whole department of dingleberries "monitoring" 3d printer repository sites, airsoft sites, and cosplay/prop maker sites as well. The amount of money they spend "monitoring" legal...

Re: J6 guy with pardon gunned down in traffic stop altercation
Until further info shows otherwise, what to me seems most likely to have occurred here is that the deputy has probably been programed that ALL felons are ALWAYS PROHIBITED from possessing guns. And the J6 guy, newly restored to full citizenship and rights once again, was packing. Perhaps he had a p...

Re: Best first rifle for children
I have a old Sears youth .22LR bolt action waiting for my niece. Single shot, bolt action, iron sights, and you have to manually cock it every shot lol.
Cricket, Rascal, etc would be good. I wouldn't go Ruger 10/22 as the allure of just mag-dumping will be hard to overcome.

Re: This is not a good look
While these explanations do in fact make sense and are likely accurate, that in no way dispels my point in bringing this up;...which is that it still gives a bad impression and allows for misinterpretation. (And read carefully what I said in the post, which made no conclusions, but simply asked WTF...

Anything in this jump out at you and make you go hmmmm Not at all because I knew exactly what it was, as it is obvious. This kinda thing has been going on for decades. I think it is a pretty good look that our current service members take marksmanship so seriously that they are willing to travel to...

Re: Any of you guys try Ace VR yet?
The increase in pixel density is nice for PCVR, and that alone made the decision for me. Although I will say, reviews were not kidding when they said the stock strap sucks. It was on my head for about 20 minutes before I ordered a BoboVR S3 Pro strap/battery and that makes it much more comfortable a...

Re: Any of you guys try Ace VR yet?
FWIW, the software and capabilities of the Quest 3s are the same as the 3. What you pay for on the 3 is the lighter pancake lenses that are more comfortable to wear. If you use it a lot it's probably worth it but if you only use it an hour here or there the 3s is just as good. That isn't entirely t...

Re: Any of you guys try Ace VR yet?
My Quest 3 arrived, and now just waiting on the Ace VR stuff. I did play "Onward" and even the weapons handling in that is pretty impressive considering it is just a game.

Re: Any of you guys try Ace VR yet?
I actually just ordered a Quest 3 yesterday, with the intention to use it mainly for this. Looks like the 3d printers I own will get a bit of action to since there are quite a few different guns you can print and transfer the "fcu" into to use with the training sim. There's a 20% discount...
