Re: Ruger LC Carbine .45ACP
ETS makes a 30 round mag for the Glock 21. I have one but have not tried it. The 9mm ETS mags have worked ok.

Re: Dimpling Jigs - Recommendations?
You could buy a set of transfer punches and then use the gas block as the jig. Transfer punches are handy and not that expensive.

Re: Seeking Advice: Emergency Insulin Refrigeration Solutions for Power Outages in High Heat
The 12 volt travel fridge does not draw much power to keep cool enough for the insulin. I have had several over the years in my semi before the big sleepers with big fridges. With a small solar setup and battery you should be able to keep that small fridge going easily.

Re: Wet Tumbler... Juice Worth the Squeeze?
I have used the Frankford wet tumbler for years, not ever going back to dry tumbling. DO NOT use the pins. The cases will be clean as new without the pins. The pins may clean the inside of the case a little better but not worth it at all. I used them the first couple of times and never again. Not wo...

My local Walmart still has all the ammo they ever had.

Re: How often are you actually getting trigger time?
We have a number of matches going on at our range in Kingman, so I shoot 5-6 a month. Mostly centerfire handgun, a 3 gun match and a rimfire match.

Re: DIY target building
The spring clips you can buy from a manufacturer, our club just bought a box to fix up our stars. Just saw a model at a show that used strong magnets to hold the plates. That looks like the way to go. Our stars come apart but still the center section is very heavy. Probably ok for young guys, lol, b...

Gold Dot 124's, regular or +P. Used by many law enforcement agencies, so good enough for me. Easy to defend in court if some prosecutor wants to make a stink about the ammo you used to defend yourself.

I use poly coated but also make sure the bullet has a bevel base for easier seating.

Re: The state of primer availability - 2023
FWIW, I shoot competitively and doing about 500-1000 rounds per week. I tried the Ginex Bosnian primers and have not had a single issue with the SPP in a CZ75 and G34. If you buy 5k, they are $65/k to your door. I'm saving my Feds/Winchesters for now. Where you loading with a progressive machine, l...

Re: Big Dot sights?
I had a set of XS Big Dots on a Glock and after a short while I took them off. That front was just to big for me. Even at 15-20 yards, all I could see was a center of mass ability to hit. Head shots not so good, but that just could be me. I prefer the 3moa dot on my optic.

Re: New AR Barrel
I have mid-length on all of mine. As Cbvanb said more likely to be over gassed, recoil harder and possibly cause ejection problems and more wear and tear on the components.
