Re: Bull Elk hunt area with easy access?

Just remember if you get the later hunts there is a good chance of snow.
2 wheel drive vehicles don't work well in the snow.

Re: Bull Elk hunt area with easy access?

I mainly hunt units 1 and 27 and there are lots of forest roads that will get you in the middle of elk country that can be traveled by car. If it is snowing then there will be a problem. I have never needed a 4x4 to get to where the elk are.  After the kill it helps if you have to go cross country t...

Re: Bull Elk hunt area with easy access?

(could hike on level ground for a mile or two, but add the pack, rifle, uneven terrain, etc, and that gets shorter).

Not to be a jerk , but what happens when you add an 800 pound elk to that ?

Re: AR15 vs hand gun

Re: Handgun - Revolver

I appreciate the video - but I would beat the living crap out of those guys that set up those poor girls like that. Men protect females, not hurt them. I have to agree with that. I have never liked videos where people post things like this. There is nothing funny about it and people that deliberate...

Another WWII Vet Passes , Colonel John Coulahan

Colonel John ( J Cool ) Coulahan passed away January 30 , 2020 at the Tucson VA Hospital. I have known John for many years and my wife worked for him for 25 + years. She was with him when he passed. She was probably the only person alive that could win an argument with him and the only person that c...

Re: Question for a friend...

I have seen mountain lions in just about every mountain range in southern Arizona at one time or another.
I have even seen them in the lower desert.
I have killed a few over the years.
They are out there if you spend time and hunt for them.

Re: Gun for sale search engines

armslist.com
I have both sold and purchased guns on that site and never had a problem.
As long as you deal locally you should be fine.

4 Year old boy and father shot in head when Glock falls out of holster , boy dies

This is a sad story.
I could be wrong but there sure seams to be a lot of accidental shootings with Glocks.
Let the speculations begin.

Re: Open Carry - no thanks

A few years ago it was a big thing on this site to have an open carry dinner some place. Everyone was all for it back then. I never went to one but it seamed to be the cats meow back then. What happened that changed all your minds ? I have no problem with people carrying guns and I could care less h...
