I have to agree.
Telling the kids probably wasn't the smartest thing she could have done.

Maybe he is one of those that don't think you need to clean your guns.

Re: Why are there no gloss scopes anymore ?

I know you are a plastic gun fan , but you will never convince me that plastic holds up better than steel.

Re: Why are there no gloss scopes anymore ?

I guess I'm just old and don't care for all the subdued and camo gear everyone thinks they need. All my guns are blue steel with wood and have gloss scopes on them. I like it that way. Personally , I think they don't make them any more because it is more expensive to make them in gloss. That and eve...

Why are there no gloss scopes anymore ?

I haven't bought a scope in quite awhile. I have been looking for a low powered scope ( preferably a mini ) in a gloss finish. It seams that they aren't made any more. I went to several gun stores and could not find one gloss scope. All I can find are Black , Matte , Camo and Bronze colored scopes. ...

Re: Do we have a facebook group as well?

Curios question.
I have never used facebook before.
So my question is , what benefit would facebook do for this site ?
From what I understand, facebook is just a site where everyone writes their life story ?

Someone posted a picture of the rules and they say you can’t bring your own targets. Just have to use the permanent steel hangers.
Can't really say I blame them for that.
If they let everyone bring their own targets , it would probably end up like any other trashed out shooting area.

Re: Do you / would you consider CCW a Revolver?

You say you shoot it better than any other gun , so why not carry it ?
I have and know quite a few people that carry revolvers.
I don't see any downfall in it.

Re: 7mm Remington Magnum, Anyone tell me about it?

I ended up passing on the M77, but for Christmas my wife got me an extremely beautiful 30-06 Browning Safari from 1967. It appears to be unfired and not carried...well until I got it at least! I have been looking for the right scope for it, but life got in the way and have been so busy that I haven...

looks to me like the cat heard or saw the jogger and did what comes natural.
It hid from what could be a potential danger.
The last thing any wild animal wants is a confrontation when it is not necessary .

Are you sure it wasn't a Colt Detective ?
He provided the mold. Perhaps the colt detective is close enough to the j frame? I changed it in the list to J frame so there is no confusion.
They are different holsters.
