From my recollection.
If you are a member of the reservation the tribe prosecutes you depending on the crime.
If you are not a member it is a federal crime and prosecuted by the federal government.
I am not sure about reservation casinos but in Nevada , all crimes committed in a casino are felonies.

Re: 22 Ammo - Ever think we'd see these prices again?
I shoot more .22 than anything else.
I started buying .22 back when it was $10 a brick. Any time it went on sale I would buy a brick or two.
I still have some that I paid less than $10 for.
I have never been short of .22 ammo.

Re: Video Games
Personally I can't stand video games of any kind. I think they are a waste of time and money. It amazes me how many people waste their time playing them. People can't even walk down the street without having their nose stuck in a cell phone or game of some kind. Todays parents don't want to be bothe...

I think the girl that pulled the gun did just fine. As soon as the guy saw the gun he backed off.
She stood her ground and the guy left. I see no fault in what she did.

Re: Range Finders
I use a range finder every time I go hunting. There are lots of choices. Even the cheap ones seem to work good. I have a Leica. It was close to $1000 new about 10 years ago. A friend of mine bought a Redfield last year for around $200 and it works just about as good as mine , it just doesn't go the ...

If the 308 is anything like the 5.56 I would look at other options.

Re: Oil or grease for semi auto?
Any light weight oil will work. I go to Lowes and buy the bottles of oil they sell for swamp coolers. It only cost a couple of dollars and works as good as any gun oil out there. 3 in 1 oil also works good and is cheap to be had. I have even been known to use WD-40. I have never had any of the probl...

Re: Open Carry - no thanks
Personally I could care less how you carry your gun.
It doesn't bother me one way or the other.
I do wonder about some people though when you see them with a $600 gun in a $2 holster.

They pop up every once in awhile.
They are not good quality and probably not worth the hassle that comes with them.
I can't imagine anyone wanting to collect them.
They are in a class that is known as Ted Nugent guns.

Re: The reality of finding food, "In the Woods"
Everyone talks about what to hunt and what to grow and that is in good weather. What will they do up north when there is 2 feet of snow on the ground and another big storm comes in ? How many times have elk hunters had to be rescued up north because a snow storm came in and snowed them in and usuall...
