Re: What do you like in 22LR rifle?

I like the Remington 550-1 (I have 2). They're a tube-fed semi-auto that'll shoot short, long & long rifle. Mix 'em up in the tube; it won't care.

Re: I need to start shopping at the antique mall

I've never found frags, but I have purchased live 20, 25 & 30mm ordnance (mostly TP stuff) for cheap. Doesn't surprise me at all.

Re: Realistic Blow Back Air Guns - Substitute for ammo shortage.

I got the boy a Crosman R1 (similar to the DPMS collaboration in the first post) and he LOVES it. The mags are 25 rounds, and it functions just like the real counterpart (bolt catch/release, charging handle, etc.). The only difference that I've noticed is that the forward assist is just for looks. T...

Re: COSTCO Safe

I have one of those style safes, and I like it for what it is. The only thing I've done is add interior lighting and a vertical board (for a brace) under the top shelf.

ETA: I'm not sure what COSTCO pricing is, but I bought mine at TSC during the holidays for a pretty good price.

Re: Seatback PALS Panels ???

I wish I could remember the name of the ones I last bought for the Jeep before I sold it. They were pricey, but the fit was awesome. Plus, they covered the entire seat, came in different colors/inserts, and the entire back was covered in MOLLE loops. If I can remember what they were, I'll chime in. ...

Re: Which gas mask?

Whatever brand/model you get, make sure that the filters you want (there's a bunch of them depending on what you're trying to protect against) are readily available and cheap. Also get a mask that has a one-piece section in which to look through (nothing with 2 "eyes") - MUCH easier to use...

Re: Seatback PALS Panels ???

I'm not sure if it would fit an F-150 or not; haven't really looked into it. But, to me they didn't seem like they were a "Jeep-only" product; seemed a bit universal to me (as long as you have similar bucket seats). I was happy with them as far as durability and value; I just didn't like p...

Re: Seatback PALS Panels ???

I've had the Smittybilt set before in my Jeep (very similar to the one shown). They're made in China (probably), and I had them in the Jeep for a few years. No doors/top, and they were beat on by the weather and the sun and still held up great. They're a great way to store emergency accessories. htt...

Re: crossroads, Phoenix

I had a good time at the show, but didn't find anything I couldn't live without. The boy found one those commie fur hats he wanted though...lol. I was only looking for some obscure items anyway. I did however go to AJI the next day and found what I was looking for; a couple spare barrels for a shotg...

Thanks! It's a relief to know that there's at least a temporary solution if I need it.
