"Active shooter" has a specific definition, specifically an armed individual moving about in a target rich environment indiscriminately shooting people as he or she moves about.

They taught us this stuff in the police academy. We dealt with national statistics and was more centered on police involved shootings but IIRC most armed encounters happen within five to seven yards and are done in three to five shots.

I've done two. super simple. Having run Glocks for 20 years I like the grip on the P80 better. The P80 seems to be made of a lighter, harder plastic. Not sure how it will hold up over time. Need someone to put several thousand rounds through one to get an idea of longevity.
