Thank you, yeah I found that after I posted...should have checked first lol
Understandable from their standpoint, but I don't like it...

Re: Ted's shooting Range
I like Ted's. I've taken at least a dozen new shooters there over the last couple years plus my kids. We've always been treated professionally and respectfully...but then it's the kind of place where you get what you give. I also jail my NFA items there too and conjugal visits are always granted.

Barrett-Jackson security posture
Anyone been to Barrett-Jackson this weekend?
Website says a couple years ago they went heavy with bag checks, small clutch purses and weapon screening. Does anyone know if that's still a thing?
Just want the woman and I to be properly equipped on arrival.
Thanks!

Re: Range day
I like Ted's since it's close to my house. I shoot there enough and have done a few transfers there (plus they jailed a can for me) so most of the long term crew at least know my face and are very nice to me and the people I bring in. Glad your wife liked the 226, that is indeed a great piece, espec...

Re: Range day
Those are sweet pistols, and some nice shooting too; I see plenty of people that can't make headshots at 3 yards...practice pays off. Small world, I was at Ted's yesterday too with my daughter and a buddy. My daughter was pretty much sticking with her AR but wanted to try out my Desert Eagle L5 in ....

Re: Recommendation for AR9 suppressor
I bought an Obsidian .45 for the modularity and to be used on multiple hosts. Here it is attached to my four inch 9mm upper using a 3 lug mount and my Shield for size comparison (I didn't have a banana...sorry). I honestly can't say enough good things about the Obsidian...though it's not the cheapes...

Re: Rugged obsidian 45
I think you'll be happy with either one. Things that pop out at me the most are that the Omega 45 is fully welded, so no tearing down to clean it out; but it is rated to .300BLK supersonic whereas the Obsidian 45 is only rated to handle subs. The Omega is lighter and shorter than the Obsidian in it'...

Re: 24 lane indoor range & bar opening in Gilbert
I was at Teds earlier this year when I heard the college age children in the lanes next to me remark "That's the last time I'm giving you weed before shooting". There's nothing stopping someone from knocking back a few cold ones in the parking lot or anywhere else and walking into any rang...

Re: Rugged obsidian 45
Thanks, confirmed by calling them. Ordering an Obsidian 9 or 45 later tonight! Will be my first centerfire can, love my 22 cans Pretty sure you'll be happy either way. I went with the 45 so I can host with any of my pistols. Just need to get another piston so I can try it out on one of my 9mm hosts...

Re: Rugged obsidian 45
Indeed they do. I was able to shoot mine this weekend on my P220 host. I just went to the counter, told them I have a can being held there, gave the gentleman the make/model and my ID and he returned shortly with my can. I put about 100 rounds through it, let it cool, boxed it back up and they put i...

Re: Silencershop had to withdraw and resubmit 3000 + form 4s
FWIW, new mailed date was Sept 5, SilencerShop shipped the can to my dealer on Tuesday and I got a notification that ATF received my forms and cashed my check today.

Re: Silencershop had to withdraw and resubmit 3000 + form 4s
My original mailed date was August 3 and I never got a notification of check cashed...then the resubmit came along, I was really hoping for a better NFA experience this time around...

Re: Silencershop had to withdraw and resubmit 3000 + form 4s
Ditto here, my mailed forms date changed yesterday as well after I called them and received the same info on Tuesday. Another month of waiting...but hey, maybe I'll actually get to possess this can one day.

Re: 22 rimfire suppressors
I've had my SiCo Sparrow for about 1.5 years and I'm quite pleased with it. I've run it on a P22, a couple Ruger 22/45s (my Lite loves it) and my Savage FV-SR (all of which, by the way, I got from AZS members). It's a mono-core, pretty easy to clean and size and weight are excellent. I don't have an...
