Re: AZ heat + Promag = interesting results

That seems like something Bloomberg would endorse. A magazine that won't hold over 5 rounds.

I don't care. Either one is fine with me.

Re: What is your favorite hand gun?

My favorite is a S&W 1955 Target cut to 4" and round butted many years ago. Frank Glenn and Fred Wardell be praised. No pictires right now but think of any 4" modern (round butt) N-Frame.

Re: S&W 642 Belly gun?

The J frame Smith (442 for me) is my all-the-time and has been for over 25 years. The action smoothed out at about 3000 cycles and I've never had a malfunction in the 8000+ rounds. Of course, I clean regularly.

This is so Steampunk. C&Arsenal https://candrsenal.com/ has a lot of vintage firearms, history and stuff.

Absolutely, After 40 my eyes slowly had more and more issues with irons. Apertures are still usable but slower, however open sights (post and notch) are virtually unusable.

Re: New Old Aquisition!

I love older Smiths and have a extra soft spot for the N-Frames. I'm trimming down the herd and recently turned over my third Highway Patrolman to a younger friend.
We don't so much own them as hold them in trust for future generations.
