Re: The Army’s SAW and M4 replacements;
As a short range heavy hitter the 6.8 makes sense in the M4 but for a distance weapon like the SAW the 6.5G would be more appropriate as it over takes the 6.8 after 100yds.

Re: The Army’s SAW and M4 replacements;
The article is almost a year old and I seem to recall the Army backtracking on this.

Yeah I know but the only real safe queen we have is the wife's John Wayne Colt New Frontier. It is unfired and she wants to keep it that way.

Re: Steyr HS-50...Opinions and/or Experiences
I am really leaning towards buying if the first guy backs out (which it looks like he is). I will know on Monday.
I can afford it but absent shtf and a need to take out armored vehicles (or Graboids), I'm not sure how much I would actually use it.

Steyr HS-50...Opinions and/or Experiences
I might have the opportunity to pick one up on a screaming deal and it would be my first 50bmg rifle so looking for what others think.
Would also come with a Schmidt Bender 5-25x56 scope.

Re: Steel bullet bans
I deal with it by not having to shoot at a range.
Though my former range in CA never had any such ban.

Re: Ahhh yes, the non violent Deep State Demonscats...
While the timing and details are in very poor taste, this is hardly the first time the story line has been used in a movie. See "Surviving the Game" (1993) and "Hard target"(1994)

^^^^ Seems a tad low for what you are getting.
Either good deal or a scam.

Re: Roof Koreans
Kinda late to this thread but we had the Korean White Horse division outside the wire in Nam. These guys take their duty very very seriously. We stayed on good terms with them at all times. Probably the same folks. I'll take 2 please. If you think they were serious you should see ROK Marines in act...

Interesting
My wife got to fire a vintage Gatling in 45-70 at a Shooting Expo in CA a few years ago.
