Re: Banning guns doesn't seem to stop mass shootings

Actually a large percentage of Cartel weapons are traced back to the Mexican military. The Cartel prefers the military full-autos over the semis us Americans can buy.

Re: Banning guns doesn't seem to stop mass shootings

If only America would institute common sense gun laws the criminals in Mexico wouldn't be able to get guns to commit these crimes...

Now that's a strong lock.

Unfortunately it only took him about 3 minutes to pick it open.

Re: Tavor 308

People will still buy them "because they look cool" despite at 3-4 MOA it is effectively a 300yd or less rifle which is a waste of .308 capabilities.

Guys like Ranger1 will probably buy 2.

The plastic rounds are lighter and fit in a 5.56 size weapon.

Even if the military sticks with 5.56 it is likely they will switch to plastic cased rounds.

Re: The Army’s SAW and M4 replacements;

If this was about anything other than some dod a**hole setting himself up for a retirement job they would change the 55 grain bullet out for a 75-77 grain bullet which makes it longer range or dump the 5.56 and just use the 7.62x51 in new M-16's or whatever they want to call the new rifle as well a...

Re: Steyr HS-50...Opinions and/or Experiences

Yeah and truth be told it was still an ok deal, just not as good as the one that attracted me to it. Heck even my wife was upset he had tried to change the deal thinking I wouldn't notice.

Re: Discussion of the legal ramifications of shooting a clown

Happened in the UK...not going to be shooting anyone there and probably get arrested for clown abuse if you defended your children.

In America...yes good shoot.

Re: The Army’s SAW and M4 replacements;

That's not a good enough reason to field a ballistically inferior round though. Agree - All of these alternative rounds, maybe equal to their respective projected replacements, but nowhere are they more superior (I haven't found that proof anywhere). Sorry but not sure what you mean. Both the 6.8 a...

Re: Steyr HS-50...Opinions and/or Experiences

Well looks like the deal fell through. When I met up with him the rifle was wearing a different, much cheaper scope (not one that would survive a 50) and he wanted more money then we had previously talked about. I didn't like getting jacked around so we didn't make the deal.
