Re: So this is a thing!!
I have seen these sorts of things a lot lately, and still have mixed feelings. I really wish Glock would just make a cool folding stock. I can see the value as a "thing you keep in your pack when hiking" item in case you get caught out. Just not sure I wouldn't rather have the weight of a ...

Re: How do I go about being tactical without being "tacticool"?
I forgot to mention in earlier post (went and di a once over after reading this list) if you wear glasses or contacts having backups and or cleaning stuff in there is good and I have a solar charger that will work for radio or phone.

Re: Opinions on the PSA AK-V?
Can't say I have used one but if you are after a 9mm AK you should check out the kalashnikov us kp9 and kr9. Runs really smooth and was about the same price.

Re: classifieds
The thing that sucks I think about the classifieds working as they do now is that it seems to me that it dramatically reduces the potential customer base for someone trying to sell something. It be what it be though.

Re: Boating accident?
These make me laugh. Come on guys, seriously, if you have a gun and have it anywhere it is even remotely useful a dog is going to find it. The totalitarian government imagined to make this needed isn't the sort of government to take your word for it and worry about things like burden of proof. If it...

Re: Open Carry - no thanks
It really depends on where you are going right. If you are out on your own in the middle of nowhere, or just with friends/family but isolated like that sure, open carry if you want. If you are carrying in an urban environment, out to dinner, down to the shops etc... where odds of a situation go way ...

Re: Gun Ban
When Trump ultimately wins this election, I don't believe he is going to ban any guns. My man... when discussing gun stuff he was the one who said that he didn't think due process should come before seizures, that it was better to grab the guns right away and then worry about the due process later....

Re: Here’s What 75 Preppers Learned During the Lockdown
Interesting article. One thing I didn't see mentioned as being in short supply, and not an essential by any means, was fitness gear. Even now it is quite difficult to find weights and other home fitness stuff reliably. I figured the gym was out of bounds and I was going to have the time but it was t...

Just started studying to get my ham. I had one like 30 years ago but been meaning to get back into it a bit. Besides I own a business so I can toss up an antenna more or less at will.

I doubt you will see anything significant for quite a while. He has a lot on his plate day 1. I have to say, and some of the older shooters here may feel the same, I have heard it all before so I am just not getting my chonies in a twist. There were no seizures under obama, my kid isn't in a madrass...

Here to listen, stay in the fight.
Hi there everyone. I have been on and off of these forums for years as time and budget allow me to shoot... or not. I just wanted to drop in and make myself available to anyone who is struggling. As the tensions of politics and covid have strained me I have been more and more aware of needing to rea...
