Re: Youth sized .410

Everyone I know starts them out with a single shot mostly so you won't get shot more than once. Depending on age either a .410 or 20 gauge if they are a little older. Usually a .410 pump works and Mossberg's are easy and cheap, but the ammo gets expensive fast. I remember Junior going through 4-5 bo...

Re: Remington 1100

The 1100 is a very good gun and my favorite semi auto shotgun. You can shoot 2-3/4 inch shells through a 3 inch marked barrel but the gun will probably not cycle. You need a 2-3/4 inch marked barrel to reliably shoot 2-3/4 inch shells. A 3 inch marked barrel only has one gas port. A 2-3/4 inch mark...

Re: A genuinely cool gun-shop

Boris and Nadia at D'Eagle guns is my favorite stop up there, for sure. However, they have limited hours of 10-3pm weekdays only. Darn near next door to them is Prescott Valley guns. It's been light on inventory my past few visits, but it's crazy not visit both if you're able to hit Deagle during t...

Re: Help with updating my revolver carrying wife....

Go to AmmoAz and try them all out then rent one. Otherwise buy the one she likes best and keep going until she finds the right one right now. That way you get to shoot tons of stuff in the process and you can sell the ones you don't like or add them to the hardware collection.

Re: Help with updating my revolver carrying wife....

She feels the need to carry. Just can't hardly hit anything with the old J frame anymore, not good for +P, 5 shots, and her L frame is too big and heavy for her purse lol. She understands the advantages of an automatic. Just have to find one with a trigger that feels right to her. Maybe it's better...

The guy was in the firearms store the other day because his brand new pistol had jammed. Lucky for him as there was a bullet stuck in the barrel. True story.

That's why they like to consolidate into large corporations. They will do what they are told and are much easier to sue.
