Re: Selling a CA Compliant Gun to a CA Resident
Not 100% sure on Cali end, but if the receiving dealer will take firearms from a NON FFl, you can just send it to the dealer with out the BS on your end. Private citizens cannot legally mail firearms. Only an FFL can ship a firearm and it needs to go to another FFL (Factory warranty different set o...

This is a step in the right direction. All bills are being voted on by party lines rite now so this will probably go nowhere, if it even makes out of committee. The media is not letting anyone know about legislation like this either so its hard to get public support when the public does not know wha...

Re: TV Shows Push Gun Control Myths – in Sync with Biden
I asked a group of 20 somethings a while back "why does the government that all of you love and trust so much, want to restrict your ability to own a firearm" actually made a couple of them think for a moment.

Walther P38 - Spreewerk CYQ
Collecting and caretaking of historical firearms, especially ones that work, use to something average people could do. 20 years ago on a Saturday morning a guy walked into a Prescott Valley gun shop, he had just found this in his late grandfathers dresser and decided to trade it towards something mo...

Many of us have fireplaces in our homes that we cannot ever use due to the no-burn days that seem to be prevalent whenever it is cold outside... I have a fairly large stack of wood and a dozen or so duraflame logs. Not worried about heat generation. I have a decent food storage. Water---ehhh... 25 ...

Re: Carcano Single Shot Adapters
My 7.35 is marked with sa on the rifle and sling When I was 7 years old in the early 1970's I noticed this Carcano in my dad's closet, he said I could have it and keep it in my room. I still have it, only item not stolen from parents storage unit in the 80's this rifle turns out is almost my oldest...

Re: German Military Mauser HSc
Neat piece of military history. Guns without import marks are my favorite in the c&r world. Same here. When I lived in Prescott occasionally I find a really nice C&R. Prescott with that VA Hospital and all those retirees had the best dresser drawer finds wander into the gunshops on a Saturd...

Re: Carcano Single Shot Adapters
My 7.35 is marked with sa on the rifle and sling Your Carcano is actually one used by Finland of all places. Turns out Germany supplied a bunch to Finland as military aid in 1940 when Russia invaded. SA marked carcano rifles were part of the Finland's military. Finland sold these off way back in th...

Re: backpagegun.com/
If you are buying a gun, you won't get your money back no matter how you send money via PayPal. Plus you stand the chance of having your account locked. Paypal will lock accounts of both buyer and seller for months when a firearm is involved. If and when money is returned your not on PayPal anymore...

Re: Long Lines at AZ Firearms Tempe
I went to AZ Firearms in Tempe today to pick up a transfer. There was a line out the door about 10-15 people deep and nowhere to park. So i guess i wont be getting my transfer anytime soon. Not sure if they were limiting it to one person at a time or there was jsut that many people that they would ...

There is a scene in The Walking Dead where everything on screen on blazing away happy-switch style. All of the muzzle flashes were CGI, which was awful enough, but one of the guns was a SOCOM 16. Forcing semis to shoot full-auto... Scene in Walking Dead with Rick and Daryl in the Jeep chasing the t...

Re: Gun lines in movies
Realistic gun scene in movie was in Platoon. At the end Charlie Sheen's character picks up the Kalashnikov and checks to see if anything is in the chamber by sliding the action open just a little bit.
