Re: shooters world peoria

Was there with my g.f. for "Ladies Day" yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised to see their gun showroom well stocked with Glocks and other brands of pistols! My surprise turned into disgust when I saw their prices! @#$%! ie. $679.xx for a Glock 48?

Re: Sig Romeo 5 Review And Torture Test

Having read all your posts about the Sig Romeo 5, it appears that I made a good buy with it. I wish all the components were made in the USA, however.

Re: Cimarron Schofield problem

Am with you on that suspicion. I reload my own. I'll buy a box and test my Schofield with the factory ammo.
Thanks for your suggestion!

Re: Cimarron Schofield problem

Got a call around noon today with a Texas phone no. Almost rejected it but I remembered that I sent my Schofield to a Texas address only days before, so I answered the call. It was Lonnie A. from Texas Long Rifles, a designated gunsmith for Cimarron Firearms. He introduces himself and says "you...

Please give us a follow-up report when you get it back.
Yes, I'll post the results of their repairs here. Their gunsmith received it last friday (3 days ago).
Many thanks!

Re: Cimarron Schofield problem

Thanks for all your responses! I took a look thru the brl with a torch (flashlight), but it was difficult to determine because the brl was dirty. I called Cimarron and they gave me a Warranty RA (return authorization) with a paid return label . Nice of them. So I sent it to them. I hope to get it ba...

Cimarron Schofield problem

I recently purchased a Cimarron Schofield in .45 Colt. Took it to the shooting range and test fired it. I observed that every shot I fired sprayed something on my left cheek; felt like very small particles or flecks of a dustlike substance, perhaps copper shavings? My left cheek didn't bleed, but it...

Re: Athlon scopes

I bought the Athlon Argos 6-24x50 BTR FFP model. This is my first First Focal Plane scope in 1/10 MIL. It took a little bit of effort understanding MIL vs MOA, but it was not that difficult either. The scope is bright at its highest power magnification and the parallax side focus knob extremely usefu...

Re: Gunsmith to thread my rifle barrel

Call AWC, they have done many rifles and pistols for me over the years and they get it right. I own a machine shop and send my personal stuff out to them, that should tell you something about them. They are usually pretty quick too, think my longest wait was a couple weeks and it was done when they...

Gunsmith to thread my rifle barrel

I live in the North Phoenix area and need an experienced gunsmith to thread my bolt action rifle barrel for a suppressor. Can anyone recommend one where they can do the work right at their shop and not have to send it away?
