Re: Desert place to shoot near Tucson
Off of 83 to rosemont junction. Some legal marked spots to shoot. Go down there often. general area. 31°50'53.89"N 110°42'35.05"W used to drive over gun sites pass, but the rosemont mine blocked all the roads now. I wonder how overgrown the road is now since we had a very rainy monsoon. I...

Cabela's makes you feel like they are doing you a favor buy selling overpriced guns with an attitude. I cut them out a while ago and find good deals online and ship them to my local FFL.

Re: Panic Buying Over Yet?
My local shop in Tucson gets inventory in regularly. I was able to buy a Taurus G2C stainless slide for $219 so they are not gouging compared to the black slide used ones I see on Armslist for over $300.

Re: Armslist Experiences
I always confirm with the potential buyer that they have and are bringing a valid AZ ID. I had an occasion where the buyer "forgot" their id and asks if I can sell it to his wife in the car. No thanks. I have also been asking the potential buyer to call me before we meet. That seems to get...

Re: Opinion: Best .22 handgun
I have had a SW Victory, Sig Mosquito, and a 1911/22. My favorite and the only one I currently have is the M&P 22 standard size 4" barrel. I bought a cheap M&P Fobus owb holster and mag holder so I can practice drawing while saving some $$$. I swapped out the front sight for a fiber opt...

Re: Bill of Sale
I have never indicated the need for a bill of sale in my listings. However, when I get response from people on Armslist who seem shifty, I will ask them questions like do they have a valid Arizona drivers license, are you prohibited from owning firearms, etc. Usually the shifty characters will never...

Re: The gun buying panic (so far)
The suppply for new guns seems pretty good. The prices are much better than used guns. People seem to be digging deep into their safe looking for anything to sell at an inflated price.
