Re: Value of a Tokarev

I think the key is proving it's a Nam bringback. Some folks collect just that. Once in awhile import guns were missed or lightly marked. Chinese Tokarevs don't seem as valued as others but bringback is different.

Re: Will an "Upgrade" Hurt Value?

The original Yugo SKS parts aren't cheap anymore either. Couple years ago had a 59/66 in need of gas tube and regulator parts, the correct tube was like $90+ and regulator $25. That said I think the mod you want to do, just the gas regulator parts, isn't really a bad thing. Many of those got rusted ...

My guess is the primer got hot enough to ignite. Poor man's IED detonator, even has 2 minutes for terr to walk away.

Re: Non-FFL get a table at SAR show?

https://www.sarwestshows.com/index.cfm Table price not listed, I would be a little surprised if they have space still. At various shows I've bought private sale from a table with no 4473, nobody's watching at a show that big... I split a table like 7 or 8 years ago at a local show, no 4473 etc needed.

Re: SIG SAUER P226 MK25 Navy Pistol?

Thanks that's good to hear. I see they have reviews for these since 2018, I can imagine whenever production stops they will be collectable... whenever that is. I like Navy stuff but not enough to spend double vs an older one... I live in AZ and don't need the corrosion protection.

SIG SAUER P226 MK25 Navy Pistol?

https://www.sigsauer.com/p226-mk25-full-size.html I saw a new one of these at the store, I noticed the Navy anchor and gov serial matrix. I have wanted to try a 90s German P226 for awhile... I was wondering how, if so inclined, this would be better. I saw it's aluminum frame (lighter for a heavy 9mm...

Re: So you are a Rifleman?

is this supposed to simulate the military (USMC at least) KD qualification course? No elevation adjustments needed, which are a large part of KD shooting. Looks similar but not identical. For anyone curious the USMC recently changed their qual course, its a lot more like action shooting now... whic...

Re: Any viable alternatives to Gunbroker ?

Not really alternatives for self listing I know of. Plenty if you want the auction house to do the work (and thus need a larger collection or high value items.) You can look into other busy forums or forums that cater to a specific manufacturer. But sometimes they want you to post 50x etc. on the fo...
