Re: I know nothing about these. Does the scope hurt the value?
I think the question is, if it was drilled into receiver to attach the scope mount like a M1C or M1D, or it's something else. If the factory spec scope mounting, it might not matter.
Compared to other milsurps CMP Garands are not usually totally original anyway. It's different than other milsurps.

Re: What is a 5.7 handgun for?
(Splinter cell) Yes! Still looking for the right priced FS2000 with scope. Let alone the night vision. For 5.7 I am mainly interested in the PS90, I still think it is a superior SMG design. But the ammo costs a lot, nearly as much as .308, more than 5.56 and twice (or more) than 9mm. Hopefully all ...

Any machinists on AZS or you like?
I got a an Argentinian Sarco dust cover base to put a scope on FAL and then found a Chinesium Stanag picatinny rail adaptor for it. It would work but to put my optic on there I would need a cantilever/one piece mount which are all 1.5 inches high and basically way too tall when it's all done. If the...

Re: tell me all the reasons I DONT want this
I want one of these or an SL8. But cost to make them double stack (or make the .45 into a 9mm) is ridiculous. I think you can widen the USC and SL8 magwells, or get original kit lowers. The SL8 needs a G36 bolt (or modify it) and I forget if you need another bolt for double stack USC. The USC "...

Re: Thinking about FN FAL
I have come into possession of a Brazilian IMBEL imported by Pacific Armaments Corporation in Modesto, CA. It appears to be a metric version based on the "Fz SA 7,62" stamp on the left side of the receiver over the selector switch. On the right side is an engraved PAC serial number and an...
