buy one and learn to use it to scout in front of you... there will be a time that you will need it (hopefully not).

Re: Question for Labradar Owners
The unit firmware is a bit tedious and a PITA but can be delt with, the phone app which is required to get your data off and into a usable format is crap and need complete rework... sure it looks good but functionally sux,

Re: Bill of Sale Collectors
I don't ask for a BOS and I don't copy down info... unless it happens to be a unit I have a 4473 or a booked s/n somewhere in my name ... and even then the only reason to have it is as a get-out-of-jail card in case they have the item in hand and are trying to pin some crime on me... otherwise there...

Re: AR15.com down?
I went out to arf.com and there was the notice directing everyone to their backup site - smart planning on their part... So out of curiosity I went thru my entire folder of saved gun site links in firefox... I admit many were years old and had probably been inert for some time. After saving the link...

So when they ban those 30 rounders... what are you gonna do with them? save em for a rainy day? You can't be seen in public with them and if you get busted for anything and they find them they will just confiscate them add another charge to the rap... and if you decide to make a little on the black ...

Re: Barrier Blind
I went with the Rem. 62gr Core-Lokt bonded JSP... very similar to the Federal 62gr 'Bear-Claw'... because that is what was available a couple years ago as reloading projectiles. Best I could chrono using TAC was 3000 fps out of an 18" bbl... might revisit with other powders. Don't know what bbl...

See... I guess my previous post self destructed like i predicted. If your reading this, It's already too late... I have gotten in the habit of using my phone to take a pic of target groups at the range in between sessions. I usually transfer them to my desktop when i get home for analysis. This thre...

Re: Colt 1911?
I've had several 1911's over the years, but I sold them all off. I like them, they are a great gun but anymore I want a rail for a light or laser, so if I get another it will have to have that feature... probably a 2011 I think they call them.

Re: to all you bitches!
'you will remember the negotiation long after the price you paid'. I usually do some research on what things in various conditions are selling for and keep tabs of the market for what I'm selling - so if I price something at or below fair market price, then I usually stand firm... Sometimes I do tac...

Re: to all you bitches!
Since we're b****'in... I'm tired of the first thing they ask without even looking at the item... 'is that your lowest price?'- no matter how low an item is priced. I can understand physically evaluating the condition of something and then trying to negotiate the price, but not sight unseen right fr...
